the mounts do sit above the body work, can try jacking up the front and loosen the bolts lightly then give the steering a turn to see if it is indeed the mounts... they last quite a long time so just replace them if they're dead,
can do them at home if you have a spring compressor, not a bit...
Sounds like a bad connection in the loom, coils work in pairs so they will stop working 2 at a time, trace back the loom and look for any damage, and check all the connections... lambda can make the engine run lumpy but the computer will generally swap to using the map sensor if the fuel trims...
Map sensors dont normaly give problems on clios although they can fail, if unplugged and when cold the computer will use the lambdas for fueling, if you want to rule out the map, find a friend with a known good one and swap it out... or give yours a clean...
The fact that the car was still...
well the wiring up is simple, there are lots of easy to follow wiring diagrams on the net but basically a relay is just a simple switch, be it one you can control from a external trigger... ie. a on off switch in the cab or from the stalk if you are going to get one with that switch. so you...

In the past i have found this to be a bad connection on the tdc sensor plug... next time it wont start try giving this a wiggle... a bit of corrosion can cause lots of problems...
yea they do move around quite a bit, if they are knocking over bumps then replace them... otherwise that is normal. would be an idea to touch up the paint on the towers where the mount has been rubbing.
first check if you have spark... if yes then there may be a fuel problem... spray some starting fluid down the intake while swinging, if it starts and dies then you know you not getting fuel, or, the fuel you have is contaminated.
about revs showing when the engine is off, yes, for some reason...
sounds like a battery issue, how old is your battery? they seem to only last 2 years now days... also check your earth straps, and the lines running to the starter, give them all a clean...
there is a receiver unit, could be this, although ive noticed that the range is getting less with age... you could try re programming the keys and receiver
the light should be on solid when cranking, that means its disarmed, if its flashing then its armed... are there any other lights on the dash that shouldnt be there? have you checked all the other fuses as well or just the radio one, there is another fuse and relay box in the engine bay that you...
I found some that didnt flicker the dashlights but they did bring up the highbeam brake light when the headlights are switched on... the resistance on them is so high compared to a normal bulb, havnt found any that dont cause issues... for reverse lights and fogs, leds work fine but stick to...
