Hi,
Whats the factory strength of the car battery that comes in the 200?
Im guessing 50Ah, because im about to collect my first ever Clio from the traders on Wednesday. The first thing i usually do with my cars (due to many bad experiences) is find the recommended battery strength the car...
Got me all nostalgic now, so here's some of my Nurburgring holiday snaps lol the first few are from our hotel room at the ring and the last ones a Bayer Leverkusen game we caught when we stayed overnight at the stadium.
I've driven across France Belgium Holland and into Germany and stayed the night at the Nurburgring hotel in a 5 day driving holiday, it was lush and the roads around the ring are almost as good as the track itself. Shame I was in a boring car.. I've remidied now buying my Clio 200, so I'll be...
So, the 200 I'm picking up next week has factory head unit. This won't last as I'm a techy nerd type of guy. I'm coming from a car with full Bluetooth syncing and music streaming and voice calling and built in touch screen satnav, all with steering controls...
So I'm going have to try and spec...
Yeah ill ring once i get the car. Looked into 24/7 Whitchurch, they seem sound with a good set up. Might give em a ring and see if they'll give car the once over for me for piece of mind. Its only 13 miles away and not too bad a drive with some ok B roads on the way lol i tell them they were...
thanks for the input, a Trader, but then again you cant trust any of them in my book. Apparently the 200 had its cambelt changed on its last service in March, but all i have to prove it is a stamp in the log book from a garage in Derby, guess i could ring them when i get the car.
Theres a main...
Don't even joke lol that's why I'm searching for a local specialist who can give it the once over after I've bought it, I trust the guys I'm buying it from as much as £3 note
3.7% and said free mot for lifetime of the loan lol just hope they're f**king snappy.. it's agony waiting to sit back in those lush huggy seats and floor it hearing that Scorpion exhaust growl as I rev up to 7000rpm hahaha
well ill wait till i physically have the car in my hands till i pay up, AA are being w*****s about my loan, saying they have to post me forms and wait for me to post them back and the whole ting could take 3 weeks?!?!?!?! wtf? its 2017, the last loan i got a few years ago was from Zopa online...
Im posting this here as apparently the dealer, specialist, trader section is private? even though im a member?
Basically im looking for a Renault specialist in the south west, primarily the Bath or Bristol area.
Ive found Renatec in Bristol and AVS in Tunley. Does anybody have an experience of...
Well here's my thinking, the sat navs junk so I don't want that, the recaros look great but will hurt on long drives so don't want them, I'm never gonna track it so don't want a cup chassis, it's got the esp option so the money's the only issue. If there was a 2010+ 200 going around with 40k...
I quite like the look of it all being silver, no green paint or red calipers, doesnt shout boy racer.. it more sleeper and I like that. Well as sleeper as you can get with brake vents in the wings, dual exhausts and a rear splitter hahaha
Coz basically I don't want the hassle of selling my car, it could take ages and lots of pissing about. Then I'd be without a car until I find a new one, and I drive to work everyday so being without a cars not an option. So basically convenience
Ok so here's goes another attempt, tomorrow lunch time... 2010 Silver Clio 200, 33k, cloth interior, no sat nav or recaros, but esp option, silver alloys, silver calipers, looks unmarked in and out, service history, timing belt and pump done in march, had both the ball joints done already...
yeah 80k with no climate.. but they lok so good.
Unlike the clio i saw, yeah it was ropey, scuffed alloys and centres, thin brakes, manky wing mirrors, the tinted windows werent upto much, scratched back windoe and dash, that spolier looked wonky too. Didnt even drive it just went on me way...
No the real dying is that for over 7 grand you start to creep towards RenaultSport Megane 250 territory :) also yeah. Thinking of rethinking my priorities, my phone's the dogs so a phone holder would be better and get a car a grand cheaper lol ps. I couldn't daily a green car... I'm 40 hahahaha
checked all the old mot's just brakes and tyres, usual ball joint last mot but theyve done that. Belts have been done too, itll get a full mot and service on the day with any advisories fixed before collection. Also my car loan from AA i just found out gives me free mot for the life of the loan...
theres no leaning ll, its the red one, cant stretch the extra grand for the sunroof model or justify it as its got 12k more on the engine. i prefer the silver one too,but its the other side of the country and too pricey sadly. Ive just blown up the red ones photos on my 4k tv and now im noticing...
