I might be wrong but keep track tyres and road tyres apart ie two sets. any track tyre thats any cop will be too soft for the road and any tyre you use for general driving and you over winter on your car will be too hard for the track the best you will get is a compromise if you are happy with a...
The Wiring I think some goes to the two fog lamps but I also have a piece the just ends with a square plug looks like it should go into something... but what?
Whilst jet washing I managed to blow the front N/S wheel liner off! I think it was broken and had just been wedged under the bumper to me honest. I noticed that the screw hole was broken so guess I will end up having to replace. Behind it was the lead for the front fog lamps which was also un...
well bit the bullet and got them changed £87.00 can't believe how much better it feels. Garage said it was a cheap and rather dangerous way to lower the suspension by squashing the front coils down. Have to say suprised AA didn't pic it up but heyho. The steering feels so much better and the...
Ah that's interesting if you look at mine at the moment the rubber is sitting on the body work there is no gap. The coil is forced into the cup at the bottom of the strut so the strut sticks on full lock.
yes it's the metal disc that seems to be the issue the ones fitted are almost flat the current garage has shown me a pair that are more top hat shapped.
I've just purchased a Renault Sport clio the dealer fitted new topmounts to the front ( the car had both shocks replaced) I've just had the cambelt aux and water pumb changed by another garage and the garage has said the top mounts are the wrong ones. The first garage has fitted rather flat...
Just got a clio 182 to start hillclimb next season joined Bugatti owners club so will enter the B Licence production class at prescott may see some of your there?
I like poorboys tried maguires but it was like putting baby oil on the car had to wash it all off (maybe I did it wrong but i hated it.)
have also used carnauba wax which gives a really good shine but not cheap. Having said that a mate who has a gts3 uses a wax that cost £300 and I think you can...
wow I made a chavy choice 182. I never tried a trophy bought mine as a hill climb car. Doing a bit of sorting ready for the season but mainly polish cam-belt tyres etc. I did try a 170 couldn't really tell the difference in real time driving, but they are just a bit older that's all. what was...
Ah glad you said about the tint, but I think it's the glass rather than foil. Had an AA inspection all clean apart from needed cam belt and slight play in ns track rod end ball joint all being done on Thursday, but got £750 off so not too bad. Just needs a good clay and polish also spliter is untidy
Hi All
Just picked up my new (well 05) 182 cup. Not sure even after reading all the post if he is a FF or just a slim cup.
Has lower spliter, bigger rear spoiler, esp, Graphite wheels but not zennons. Will be hill climbing with him next season.
Just a few things to do cam/belt and other rubbers...
