Cheers mate - that was another option too and early got one at the weekend, but have taken a gamble and just ordered the Luma Labs direct from Manufacturer so will be a while before I can give feed back as coming from America and they are in production at the moment.
I need to get a lens such...
So I need to replace by black rapid asnthe clip and buckled.
Looking at alternatives and was wondering what other people use bar the original neck strap.
The new joby sling looks interesting, bit like the BR but with a quick adjust strap.
The luma land cinch looks very interesting and...
Thanks you! Was in Leuchars.
Only took the basics with me as was travelling fairly light. Happy with how the combo performed without flash (church shots) and with flash for the hall after.
Was good pactoce for me as another friend wants me to cover their wedding day as they can't afford a pro...
Made a round trip to Scotland over the weekend to take some snaps of the Christening. Was a chance to get some practice in too as majority of my photography has been horses!
I would get the Nikon 35m f1.8g. I have the 50mm on full frame and find it an excellent length, the 35mm would be around that length on a crop (true 50).

Not everyone's kind of subject matter, but here are some of my recent favorites.
All taken with my D600 & Tamron 28-75 & 70-300 VR.
Was so surprised how well the 70-300 VR performs on the D600.
So starting with one of my favorites taken with the Tamron. The light just made this photo stand...
£359 from wex.
Can be a lot cheaper if you don't mind imports but the warranty sold me on the UK version.
This was the 2nd copy as the first had a really loose zoom ring. 2nd one is spot on and been through about 2000 shots so for if not more.
Was very useful lens for indoor action too.
I have come to the conclusion that the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lens is one the biggest lens bargains out there. I'm not sure if there is anything else that comes close to the money it costs (bar primes).
I was on the fence when I first got it. No image stabiliser, and so small and light for a...
I think as it's 4.3" it will still look impressive. Hands on reviews look good. Was just gonna pull the plug on a new handset and now this has been thrown in to the mix!!
New Z1 compact looks very impressive on paper.
Unlike other mini versions from Htc etc this packs a punch. Specs do not differ much from its bigger brother.
Waterproof of too with single piece build.
No no idea how Sonys android skin works as never used a moden day sony phone.
Price is...
I agree that you can get fantastic shots out of smart phones these days. I have often captured fantastic printable shots because your phone is always with you, and thats what photography can be about a lot of the time. Right place, right time.
A camera phone however, is not a patch on my DLSR...
Anybody recommend any clear or front cases that will show the color of the C whilst protecting back and all sides (so notging like the feather).
Misses needs one for when out and about and wondering if anyone of them are anygood and fit well.
Was looking at one from spec, but any user views...
Watermarking & logos are a very personal thing and I fully understand how difficult it is to choose!
I spent ages on mine, font, size etc. Then deciding how to watermark my images took ages and a lot of attempts to get to what I wanted.
I had previous intances where I just had a logo in the...
My old Vaio thing is dying a slow and painful death so needs replacing.
I'm not really up to speed on whats utter garbage or decent enough for what I want.
Basically need something fairly portable that can run Adobe photoshop/bridge etc and surf the web.
Does not need to be fancy, can be a...
Not really keen on he bumper case. The Spigen Thin Armour in black looks pretty good. Decent reviews too.
So if you order a N5 now, do you get the slightly revised version?
Focus motor would not be a deciding point for me due to the vast majority of lenses having motors inside.
Base your decision in what one feels better in hand as spec wise they are too similar to call, although I believe the Nikon has slightly better ISO performance.
I got to see one of these playing when I was in London yesterday.
It was quite simply amazing! Quality was beyond anything I could imagine. Looked like you could just step right in to the picture.
A snip at £35,000.
