Engine is cutting out after a while driving, car then refuses to start straight away
If left a while it will start again yet will cut out whilst idling aswell
Could it possibly be overfuelling or a sensor?
Car started fine this morning as always
Tonight i turned the key, lights on dash as normal went to start but nothing at all silence
Key turned all clicks with nothing happening!
Second attempt engine tried to start, tried again same again not firing up
Left it a few minutes and tried again and...
The abs light esp light and service light have come on
What is the most likely fault for this? Or
Most likely repair or part required to fix?
Its put me off driving the car at the moment due to the weather
Cheers
Well ended up with brembo hc front disks with brembo pads and pagid rear disks with brembo pads and dot 200 fluid as eurocarparts was giving a 35% discount
Will just use same hub nuts but make sure there 175nm
Apparently the brembo pads and disks are no better than standard according to the guy...
Ok so purchased rear pads and disks for the 182
Contacted renault to ask about hub nuts as eurocarparts never had any and have been told you do not need to replace or touch these when changing rear pads and disks
Advice thanks?
Car was level, but i think the front window and two door rubbers are perished and letting water in
The boot must be letting water in near the lights or maybe top spoiler
Iv just ordered a new radiator, but what coolant is recommended for the clio?
I was going to just order the evans waterless coolant from euro car parts
But thought i would see what else folk recommend and how many litres required
Cheers
It sure does, the interior has also started to mould, and car is damp
The boot rubbers and window rubbers must be gubbed somewhere so probs best bet is just replacing them all
Clios been parked up for a while and its sodden inside
Water on top of dashboard
Water in both side door pockets
Water in passenger footwell and water inside boot
Is leaking seals a common fault on these cars ?
The seals dont appear to be damaged
Or where else may water be getting in.
Its silver and on ebay at the moment
Might be worth a punt either fixing or for parts for some one,
Out of curiosity, can the clio 200 recaros fit in a 182?
Or any pics of one that does.
My problem is i get fed up with cars to easily, i do like the clio, but there does seem to be a lack of local meets for these paticular cars, unless im just getting old now and thinking back to the strathclyde park scene and crail raceway meets back in early 2000s when it was a common thing
its my 2nd clio rs and i do like them just dont love them, i dont think there special enough, but for the money and performance there good, i just imagined a remapped 225 tt with 4wd would have been decent and i would have jumped in without thinking.
I think one thing that puts me off the clio...
I was not looking to sell my clio as i had plans to keep and modify it, but was asked if i would be intrested swapping it yesterday for a y reg audi tt 225
I know these can have issues with the dash and a few niggles
Its 140k with fsh
Mines is at 102k with fsh 04 plate
Opinions guys
Cheers
I seen a megane rs with one and it looked quite decent but probably unpractical for a daily road car
Has anyone on here have a slider window on there daily clio apart from track cars
What are your opinions ?
I almost went for dunlop sportmaxx but the falken were good value and well rated
But the cars backend feels loose now and sliding out around corners at 40 or 50mph, iv had to catch it twice so far
The cars on coilovers and pressures are 33 fr and 30 rr as thats what was recommended to me
What tyres do folk have on there clio?
Best for dry and wet grip.
I just got falken zeix ze 914 ecoruns
but already dont have much confidence in them in the wet.
When cornering all cars shudder
Cars drive through you
Just little niggles, but I never imagined PS4 games to be like that, I thought they would have been more finished and polished,
Hopefully pc2 isint as repetitive with races you have all ready completed, or you can skip, the ai actually...
