Granted I only bought one thing custom from hel, they were quick and easy to speak to over the phone. I ordered custom from goodridge and it took 2 weeks or so..

    Stahlbus Speed Bleeder Valve

Just looking at ways to make things easier and cheaper in the long run. First looked at ap racing dry bleed system but thats worth more than brakes them selves.. As Ill be fitting a pedal box Ive read that it must be manually bled and I dont have multiple people on hand to assist me so this...

    Silver 182 - 172 cup spec

Asts are back! Rears are now equipped with 110n springs which are nearly 630 lb. Have front 90n springs to go on as well Got some anti knockback springs for when I do my brake over haul, they are the lightest 4lb ones, have no idea what to expect but should give better consistency and...

Great stuff! A while back I was trying to design a couple of blocks to go under the pedal but just ended up with a few washers instead.

    Proline Motorsport Brake Line kits.

I was in the same boat, I just watched some youtube vids and read online, not a lot in it, making the fittings is just a bit lengthy but its all straight forward. You could make a hardline system and grab a handheld flare tool which is much quicker than braided.

    Wheel Alignment - String Method

I was in a rush once and gave it a quick 1-2, set the camber bolts up after though and obviously didnt realise that it throws the toe out at the time. couple days later after some strange handling it was getting aligned he said it was 10 deg toe out, was probably the hardest Ive ever had to work...

Would you spend £18,200 on a Clio 182?

@Englebert I hate my 182 and have spent loads on it to make it do able, I can chip in on this. I was top media analyst back in college (certified)

Would you spend £18,200 on a Clio 182?

It would pretty much have to be completely custom if you wanted to have the road/track blend and do very well on both, youd pretty much end up with a 182 shell being the only thing Renault

    Silver 182 - 172 cup spec

The J&R shaft is not designed so well as the boot is too big. Theres a pic up of the contact further up :) The Asts are being sent off tomorrow for the new springs and service! Going 110n rear and 90n front (628lbs and 513lbs) which should be ideal. Was looking at around 500r 450f but I dont...

    172 cup master cylinder

I ran just one line to the rears and blocked off the other port. Just went through the bulkhead to the valve where the cig lighter was then back out through the bulkhead and under following the same route as oem, then fit a t piece to the beam. You could do the same but just have the valve where...

  24. U

    ilya's 172 #BECAUSE_RACE_CAR

@pule333 I see what you mean, the rears would be trying to 'overtake' the fronts as the balance would be thrown out? I thought about running a super aggressive compound on the rears with very little pressure to them, might feel like crap but would still like to try
  25. U

    ilya's 172 #BECAUSE_RACE_CAR

Does the pedal feel any different when you run less pressure to the rear? Today I was having a play around and found I had more consistent pedal with less

Moving to a Mac/macbook.. anyone made the jump?

@Mk1T Well as you can see the bias is towards mac. Perhaps look at a refurbished unit with a minimum 250gb ssd depending how much you will need to store, look at the clock speeds of the cpu, 4 core with 3.4+ will be sufficient for what you need but dont go lower if you want the computer to...

Really vague steering all of a sudden

@alexessex_7 Inner tie rods bud. But it could be a few things, old steering rack bushes can really mess up the steering, the steering columns lower uj can cause this as its bushed and has flex and perishes over time. Would like to add that after this thread I was still on the hunt as I felt...
