The passenger side seat lever is broken, the cable at the top has snapped and I saw a thread on here with a link to a cable on ebay.
Can't find it anywhere now ? Any one got the link or know how much they are from the stealers ?
Should have done discs and pads all at the same time considering bearings come pre-pressed in the the rear discs. Would have saved a s**t load'a money if the brakes are binding.
Sorry I forgot about this.
The rear adjuster is larger and I measured my adjustable c-spanner (v-maxx one) twice and both times measured differently (hard to get accurate without jacking up, on mine anyway).
I'd get the smaller version considering the front adjuster is smaller, they both will...
Bit silly to compare to a web design company ! You have to compare a like for like company for your post to be valid.
Anyway, the site is broken for me. Mac and Safari. It's just a generally poorly designed website.
For arguments sake.
I add matched inlets to my Clio, I sell it to an old lady and do not tell her.
She insures the standard car without declaring any modifications, and then hits a bentley.
Firstly the assessors 9 times out of 10 won't spot the aftermarket modification (spent 2 years in a...
It's the money factor and there's about 4 parties involved so it's quite a complicated matter, but that's the car trade and fraud for you.
That is a shitter, that makes it a cat d. But at the end of the day if you tell the next buyer the full story, there is no reason that the car should...
Pretty near the exact same happened to my boss. But it happened to be a 65k Bentley he sold on. I'm pretty sure it's still in police compound now trying to resolve the matter and it's been 6 months.
Seems a bit of a s**t one, but the dent on the door from a knee will be an easy pull out job, if he used a sharp object however it would be a pull out, fill, smooth and re-spray job.
Why ? Your a wanker, diss-honest people like you and your friend cause our insurance prices to hike. This is a...
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
I keep expecting to see 190+ results from these kits.
Although remembering a standard 172 is 165bhp then it ain't bad. As long as your happy.
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
Love the mandatory wheel out pose. I don't think I've seen a photo of your car with the steering wheel central, lol.
Love the story.
All hail fred, now thats service !
..so how did the trackday go, bet you discovered loads of things that need doing now after its first shakedown. I assume you did the TD on the 2118's.
Pretty impressed with myself on that one, lol.Yeah that's a good route. Yeah I'm from Daventry. But currently the other side of the world for (your) summer.
Depends how desperate you are. Cars go up for sale everyday especially this time of year.
Yeah around that bottom end for the door.
If your feeling uncomfortable then walk-away, that is the golden rule !
What more about it will you find out to be honest ?
I don't regard belts being done at NWP as a small problem; rather large, sounds like a money pit already.
Belts and door is already 800 ish.
There are PLENTY of 182's for sale and seen many RB's too.
Walk away and keep looking, IMO.
Nice progress.
Agree with Jonny, would be easier on the car, unless you created a make-shift clamp.
Loving the 2118's although they are getting a lot of hate on here lately, one might say that you are stripping all this weight and then adding 2118's which weight a lot more than most wheels...
