As per the title. Renault say they are out of stock i bought a shaftec one but its a couple of cm too long it does bolt up but it grinds as the cv joint is too compressed/tight. Has anyone bought them from ktec?

Stripped the interior out of my track car so now i dont have any sun visors just wondering if anybody knows where to get a decent sunstrip possibly with some sort of renault branding or is it just a case of getting some vinyl of ebay???

This statement was just my interpretation of what paul told me by the way so technicaly its probably wrong as has been pointed out iam sure he would give you the proper reasoning that he gave me but like i said iam not a tuner......

Did you use genuine manifold sensors I fit a cheap ebay air temp sensor as I needed one quick and I had exactly the same symptoms. Replaced it with a genuine renault one and it solved the misfire.

Iam going to run a supercharger on my inlet, its one of the original reasons i bought it.

No it wasnt tested before the inlet was installed but there is a significant increase in standard for sure these cars struggle to make 172 anyway

Ha ha sorry just realised i read that wrong what a tit☺ er i didnt manage to get the car on a rolling road before i fitted the manifold so cant say for definate what the overall power increase is but as a rough estimate i would say 5 to 10bhp you can certianaly tell the difference

As per the title just after fitting the stalk to my 172 cup the headlight adjusters are just buzzing/running constantly i have unplugged them for the time being but just wondering if there is a fix for this?

Yea there is no doubt the filter Is crap I have ordered I foam style pipercross filter so I will report back once this in on the car and hopefully there will be more of an improvement

Ok bit of an update on this as its gone off track a bit I have been running my inlet (turkish) with a k & n shielded filter with a direct cold feed inlet from a foglight duct so as to eliminate heatsoak. I bought the filter second hand and foolishly didnt clean it first as i was pushed for time...

Ad1982 have you got a link to where i can buy the pipercross filter as i have enclosed k&n style with a direct cold air feed on at the moment just think it would be best to have both types of filter when i take it to get mapped at rs so i can get the best results. Thanks

I like the black wheels not so sure about the headlights, and i hope you dont have any speedbumps where you are if you are planning on going that low☺. But i think the stance looks good if you can live with the ride.
