Got a 16gb from o2 Hamilton this morning. Now waiting at apple buchannan st for my other 16gb that I pre-ordered. I hate queuing !

It didn't used to have HDMI did it? I see it's got in now anyway. Excellent under the TV device now surely and perhaps no need for Apple TV in it's present form (other than the fact that it's much cheaper). Cheers.

You can get photo editing apps, but i've not seen anything like Aperture for the iPad.

I still use my macbook for photo editing etc. - stuff i can't do on the iPad but I use the iPad almost solely now for browsing and e-mail etc.

You don't *need* it mate - neither do I! It is a nice device tho. I'm planning on having it sitting in the living room for browsing and for going on holiday with rather than my MB.

I am equally sad and have tomorrow off work too! Gonna go to the Apple store to have a look at cases and other accessories. My is out for delivery today it would appear - fingers crossed it does arrive! F1 timing app should be pretty cool - planning on trying it too.

Ok, a little update. I'm now able to track my shipment from Apple and it is appearing as if it will be delivered tomorrow (subject to change) which would be most welcome! Anyone else had this update - dk? Cheers *edit - it appears TNT will be delivering

I got an e-mail from Apple this morning telling me my iPad had been shipped. Fingers crossed it might arrive earlier thank Friday!
