Imagine taking this to a computer shop with the issue/s. You listen to their advice but don’t actually do what they reccomended, then try somewhere else for the lols, and somewhere else, and somewhere else.
Meanwhile the first shop is wondering what’s going on when you turn back up with the...
They were great ^
These are brilliant. Plato loves a slouch.
Properly loving this channel at the min - since it changed to The Late Brake show there’s been loads of good stuff!
I can't help, but all I've got to add is - printers are dicks, and I hate them.
We have A4, A3 and A1 wireless printers at work - and NEVER a week goes by when one of them doesn't have some kind of issue. As we need to print regularly, in the past we've just bought another emergency printer...
Snap. I'm not counting down the days for them to be finished. I couldn't care less if they never do, to be honest. Its just a good watch, and some of the fabrication skills are consistently incredible.
anybody have any recommendations?
We use google drive/docs etc a lot at work - and as such have several data-filled google sheets which in an idea world would be in one database as there's a fair bit of duplication going on at the minute. Ideally I'd love there to be essentially a Google...
I'm confused why I'd need to reference the other sheet here - the B11 merely relates to the engineer that has been selected from the drop down menu (of which is stored on the other sheet).
interesting - how does that break down? I assume dayratecolumn and engineercolumn are just references to the said column in the other sheet? what does engineer then represent?
I did what I thought may be correct, but got the below..
Thanks chaps - I'd already set up another sheet with engineers names on (Which would feed the drop down menu). Then following this () tutorial I've created the below (engineers and day rates are not true believe it or not)
however, when I go to the sheet I want it to output - I get this...
Yo!
I'm in the process of trying to sort a simple sheet (in theory) to track some information at work. However, I'm struggling.
The idea is to have engineers listed in the drop box below ENGINEER below.
This is where it gets a bit tricky.
What I want is for the day rate for the selected...
Upgrade time at the end of the month - so, my iPhone 6 which has been perfect for the past two years is beginning to be a dick.
Very likely to just upgrade to a 7 - but also toying with the idea of a 7plus. Played with one a bit in store and it seemed fine with my big hands - just unsure what it...
Thats really my back up plan, google sheets shared between users. I really want to avoid this as its pretty clunky and I don't think the images will work very well.
This is something work - will more likely than not be a bit messy and lacking something.
I have looked over options to buy but...
Bit of a random one, but thought we may have someone here who could offer some advice.
I need to create an inventory for a lot of stock and equipment at work, which is currently dotted around a few locations.
The brief is that ideally it needs to be accessed by multiple users - iPhone/android...

The exciting saga continues..
Seller of invisible cable was being ignorant, and I was getting impatient so I just ordered another from another seller yesterday. Once I recieved the despatched email from them, the original seller apologised and said they had just put another in the post for...
So after looking for my tiny screwdrivers for what seemed like days, managed to discover that my MBP is in fact a mid-2010..
Hard drive cable promptly ordered and fingers crossed..
I have seen some mentions of that on 2010 MBPs now you mention it - and an apple recall for it.
Couldn't see any mention of it for my (or what I think is) my model.
Howrver, managed to get onto recovery mode again. Run first aid on the HD, and got the following message..
"First Aid found...
My MacBook Pro is doing my f**king head in at the moment.
Safari slowed to a halt the other day and wouldn't load a page, then whole computer was unresponsive.
Waited for a while, no change so turned off.
When I turned it back on, just get an ominous thread crash message, before it reboots...
Bit of a stab in the dark this but hey ho...
Has anyone got any recommendations of decent software for logging calls?
We currently use a google spreadsheet doc at work, shared between all three of us in the office. But it doesn't feel as smooth as I think it should be. We don't get hundreds of...
