Happy with it so far other than losing some Synaptics features for my mouse pad so waiting for a new driver to sort that. (missing 4 finger gesture to go to desktop) XBOX streaming working well too.
I have the same amp. Mine is set up as follows:
HDMI OUT on amp connected to ARC on tv. XBOX and WDTV connected to TV HDMI input 1 and 3. Input selector on Onkyo set to ARC (TV). Had exactly the same setup on my old Panasonic TV and my new Sony.
Just to update it's now down to £699 in John Lewis (no free stand). Managed to get a price match as was within 28 days so after selling the stand it's only cost £660 . That means we'll move to a decent 4k in 2 or 3 years when the content is more established and it's more money towards the...
Try completing one with a crew from bad sports! One guy let us get right to the end, which took a good while, and then just kept killing himself so we couldn't complete it. It's hard enough getting a group of 4 together in there, never mind finishing it.
I'm well impressed with it, smart functions are better than expected as well. The picture from my Panasonic LED was hardly terrible but the blacks on this are a lot better and it deals with smoke/fog/clouds so much better. I found it a bit wobbly when secured to the stand but it is pretty...
Decided to go for it, £779 in John Lewis, with a £114 stand free (which will be going on ebay for whatever I can get for it). I'm liking the idea of the lightberry as well (for films, not all the time). Only "problem" is three of the speakers from my Onkyo 5.1 have nowhere to live now, KEF...
I've been looking at upgrading to 55" and was going to wait until autumn to see what 4k's are about then but we've had our 42" 3 years now so eager to go bigger. I've seen the Sony Bravia KDL55W829 getting excellent reviews for it's picture quality and seeing it in John Lewis they are justified...
Still waiting on my HTC (M7), checking it several times a day! Bit annoying they missed the 90 day deadline but they have improved a lot with speed of updates. If it's any good (peformance wise) I might keep it until the price starts dropping a bit next year on the M9/Hima whatever they'll be...
Can you guys see if you can commend me in online? Not sure if it will help me out of bad sports or not but some people say it will. It's in start/online/players. I can't get any missions done in there, just so many hackers who can't be killed and people who won't race/join missions to get my...
Back in bad sports :unamused: I've only be blowing up personal cars if people have done it to me. Looks like they've reinstated the balance of my ban so 8 months and a week :rage:.
Down to just under 4 mil now from 28. I've got 22 cars I think. It's the repeated calls to Merryweather, Lester and trips for Ammo that's costing me. If I could pick up a few $50k here and there it'd cover my running costs.
Anybody noticed all the newbies spending their cash on the wrong car mods? Ooh fancy paint, big wheels, bodykit, tinted windows...bullet proof tyres, not so much. I've just been going around targeting everyone's tyres then annoying the hell out of people who didn't mod wisely 😂. They...
You're talking £12-13 for a 5M 5050 kit , but it might take some finding for one with RF remote, most are IR at that price. At a push you can get an IR kit for just under £12 and add an RF remote for under £2. I just wasn't in a rush so didn't mind the wait. After the garage actually worked out...
You can save some cash getting direct from China (ebay) as a kit, if you're willing to wait a few weeks. Check the number per Metre and size of LEDs in the listing carefully though. And if you do get a kit make sure it's an RF remote, NOT IR. It was like a nightclub every time I changed channels...
Under $300 now. I was tempted to buy around Christmas but glad I held off, just wanted to see if it would dip at the start of the year. I'll be keeping an eye on it though, I still might dabble.
I have Koni FSDs on the S3. They give a nice ride, not harsh at all with less roll, and they're gold coloured. When I had my C70 it had (cheap) lowering springs but standard shocks. It definitely needed the shocks as well but it's obviously bigger, and more of GT car anyway.
I can't see any specifically bad reviews about it, but not sure about future proofing. I'm looking to replace our Panasonic 42" with something 4k (55") but there's all kinds to read about;
8 bit vs 10 bit technology
"Quantum dots" becoming more widespread in 2015
Does it have enough HDMI 2.0...
This bit of the M62 is so frustrating, you always end up with 2 lanes of "middle lane w*****s" or people joining at 50 or 80 and not adjusting their speed AT ALL to join the motorway.
This is up in the mountains, steep hills all around it and seemed the only access was grappling. You do the usual low level grappling to get to a plateau then there's cliffs either side. You can see two grappling points on the left and one on the right. So logically I just moved between them in...
