I can see why people with 172/182s dont like the idea of sticking a kit on theirs. I think its fair to say the majority of the bodykits for the clio 2 are total bol|ocks, and dont suit the car very well.
One thing I dont get the whole hatred towards lexus lights on here. Some of the clio 2...
Insurers usually ask if theres any modifications OR optional equipment fitted to the car, some will look very hard for any reason not to pay out. IMO if youre unsure whether to declare something and its something you cant take off the car with great ease/speed then youre best to declare it.
how much for? See my top of the range Clifford thread.

Its on page 2 of this section, half way down
I know you need to get a good fitter too, the 950 plus pager seems to be the best all round protection you can get without adding a tracker. Anyone used Car Alars UK Ltd ? Theyre doing the 950 with pager for £580
Ive spent a good few 000 quid on my car with a GTT engine conversion, bodykit and respray and Im a little concerned my current Cat 1 doesnt provide enough protection/deterrant from theives. Is it worth spending nearly £700 on a Clifford 950 together with a pager system and Cliffnet wizard? Is...
I think they look sh*te IMO, What you doing a Vovlo turbo conversion, they use the elctronic speedo right? You can use half a clio gearbox to change to mechanical speedo I think.

Paying £2350 for my insurance, 22 in Liverpool, wish I hadnt been a named driver for the first year after I passed my test now :( (could have done without crashing that year too) One thing that does piss me off with insurance is that you cant protect NCD until you have 4 years :@ Regardless of...
Speak to Brun to see if Motorwold will be getting them in, but its unlikely youll find them much cheaper, the only other place Ive seen them is abroad and theres not much of a price difference.
A) AFAIK, you need a 1.8 block due to the piston size. Id keep your 182, if they were selling a high pressure turbo then maybe it would be more worthwhile.
Im paying £2350 with Brentacre, fully comp, unlimited styling mods, engine power up to 210bhp £550 excess. Great company, they are actually bothered about modified cars and very friendly and helpful, highly recomended. Speak to John on 01792 650933 Marcus is insured with them too.
for comparison...
