Im having a problem with my clio not running right runs with loss of power and dies out when warm....codes are for accelerator pedal...throttle body brake switch and lambda......all been replaced alongwith engine loom......think ecu is at fault can anyone help
I am in love.....this was a good read richy alot of hard work gone into it and the results are great....i can only dream of giving my poor wee 172 this sort of love and money lol.
Back again....Right new lambda sensor has removed the emmissions light and when wee get it running it runs smoother...crank sensor is fine too soo after checking through some wiring looms i think I will go back and re do the timing.....just for giggles.
Ok injectors fine, coil pack fine and sparking, Ht leads appear in good nick and on in the right order plugs look to be ok no major markings to indicate anything. Still to look at lambada and crank posn sensor....any other suggestions?
Right il look at lamvada 1st. Yes ive had it running for as long as it would keep going.....i was getting tied up looking for faults in work we had just done i think i should look at this seperate as it happened the night before the work started.
Tdc sensor or lambada are my 1st thoughts code reader brings up p0130 bank 1 sensor 1. No compression test done.....happened just before i started any work which is making me think it isnt timing related.

Im at a loss here car was running very rough and had a severe loss of power....i parked it up and have spent the last few weeks changing timing belt aux belt dephaser and also gearbox due to a prev issue....now the car is back together it is still running like a pig...now it starts runs...
If this was mine id be stripping off all protection and try again with a dif set of products......ive seen this on my dads wee hyundai matrix and giving it a good detailing sorted it right out

GEARBOX is now out and recond phase 1 172 waiting to go back in. Hopefuly this week the cam belt and dephaser will get done to and inbetween getting the engine done ice been working on the body well the back end of it
Few more weeks of very happy driving went by and we where getting on like a house on fire no issues at all was loving life when......the bloody thing starts slipping outta 5th gear......nooooooo........i left it for a bit and done a bit of research and strangely the problem went away. Few more...
Ok havent had a chance to get on here in a while....work.....new baby on the way and also the clio has not been my fav subject lately problem after problem....so where to begin. After getting the car back i gad it parked up for a few days with her nice new aux belt on...the garage had overbooked...
Quick update before getting my car booked in on tues my aux belt snapped leaving me stranded 20 miles from home....what a night....got towed home and have now got vooked in next week to get aux belt cam belt dephaser and clutch done.....as you can imagine looking forward to that bill. Having...
