Not a qualified mechanic but can do most jobs and when I run out of talent my son steps in and lends a hand I was just thinking it would be easier to do a complete swap but if it's a lot easier I'm ok with striping and re building an engine ... Is there much difference between the 2 ????

im looking to up the power on my clio track car ...... just looking at the possibility's just now looking at bigger injectors or going to a full engine transplant from a megan 225 looking for the pro's and con's and just general advice as to what way to go thanks in advance .......

i replaced the 2 lamba sensors and all is well running as it should now !!!!!

reading on here someone else had this problem and it turned out to be the lambada sensors i have 2 spare in the garage so will try that tomorrow

i also have a misfire and have changes leads coilpack and plugs so look forward to see how this goes.....

just wondering if these have a torque setting ?????? any help appreciated .............

all ready looking towards next year and just wondering if anyone has put the megan 225 turbo engine into a clio and what work is involved in it as i say its just a thought at this stage but any info would be appreciated

think ill go in group 1 or 3 the next time to avoid the idiots............. and that reminds me i will need some better pads as well as the standard ones where starting to fade towards the end of each session........

not a nice thing to say but there was some scary driving and maneuvers on track from some clio drivers today (and yes i was in a clio) i was in group 2 and to be honest some of the driving was shocking ..... its only a track day but you would have thought there where thousands of pounds in prize...

i know the guy if it only increased by 1 hp that's what he would tell you and a re-map is £200 so you take your chance

just wondering witch way is best to go as i know davie at sos wouldn't give out crap figures if anything he would give a lower figure as his rollers disappoint lots of peoples figures.... from other tuners and he does before and after graphs !!!!!!

this has probs been covered before but iv got a track 172 with 182 manifold and induction kit on and was just wondering how much hp one of these would add to the car ???? and what level i would be best to go for ??? or should i just go for a re-map from a local company who claims that i would...
