Sounds like a superb experience - and fair play to Hyundai for getting their brand as a whole, massively more appealing. How many of us on here would have even contemplated an Hyundai a decade ago? Yet the cars such as the i30N and the manufacturers' efforts within rallying make them so much...
Oh ffs - is it? I've taken the bumper off a couple of times - not particularly difficult but fiddly and annoying that its needed to swap out a simple bulb.
Looks like it might be a weekend job then - lol.
@MRBILLYUK , @mossyv6 , @Craig - I got my new bulbs delivered yesterday - will be fitting them over the next day or two.
Any snags I should be aware of like fiddly clips, wires in the way, etc? I'm suspecting that given the air-con piping, the driver's side will be more of a pain to access than...
I was wondering that with the demo - as to whether or not they simplified it to appeal to more people? If they had something similar to a slightly watered-down Project Cars 2, would it prove as popular?
I take it there's manual gearchanges if you increase the difficulty too? They weren't even...
Nabbed the demo on PC and tried it out. It's my first experience of Horizon world, though I have dabbled on standard Forza previously on the 'ol 360.
So far - it certainly looks pretty. Everything set to Ultra and being totally smooth. I'm not quite a fan of the OTT Namco'esque feeling that...
Makes you think why Renault even put that crappy rubberised coating over them in the first place. I'll definitely be doing this to mine soon.
Good write-up!
I would actually prefer the bluer-white if possible - maybe even go up to a 6000K? Perhaps 8K would have too much blue in them if they are saying that 10K is a deep blue?
Thanks @MRBILLYUK - do you know if there's any MOT specifics on the colour of xenons? I've got my MOT due this month and I wouldn't want them to fail it because the bulb colour was too yellow or too blue.
Thanks Mossy! ?
Does the D2S type refer to the connector type or rating or something? I was randomly looking through Philip's website at xenon bulbs earlier to see if they had any supported car specs. I didn't see any car make & model filters, however I appreciated the marketing specifications...
Chaps,
Just wondered if the issue I've noticed this morning is more likely to be the ballast unit than the bulb itself? My man-mechanics brain thinks that if the bulb was faulty, it wouldn't come on at all?
When I switched the headlights on, the driver's side xenon illuminates for about a...
I remember years ago, quite the opposite.
One of the lads in the house at uni was playing one of the versions of Premier Manager and got a couple of squad players well into their 50s.
Must.....
Add.....
Zeroes.....
I've never really understood why game devs believe that larger numbers make you associate with a bigger sense of achievement?
Why not just make it 195 skills points and you've managed 125? Or even push the boat out and add one zero?
Giving away points in a...
The only real concern I have over modern Macs is with their upgrade paths. I was genuinely shocked to learn that the MBP that my wife bought had its 8GB soldered-on to the motherboard. Whilst I appreciate the 'incentive' to spend more and go for the 16GB version initially, I just think that...
Through and through PC owner here. My wife bought a 2015 MacBook Pro new and to be honest, it never got much use. Not a fault of the MBP itself or the Mac O/S, but the iPad(s) got a lot more daily usage instead.
It was a great device - small, light yet really quite powerful and quick with the...
Yep - you also had that strange era where it was 'fashionable' for mid execs to be seen with this kind of game on their over-priced and usually over-spec'd laptop or PC.
They had evolved from the casual putting in the meeting rooms to embracing new tech and merging it with their interest in...
Feels weird not having mine on now - and the default strap that comes with it is one of the comfiest I've worn with a watch.
Once you try it, the idea of going back to a watch that simply tells the time feels a bit 'backward'. As with other smart watches, tying it to the likes of Apple Pay was...
