It's a great think to offer but in reality most specialist offer the same/similar thing, Brentacre have just labelled it well. Most specialists will not change more for changes which do not effect BHP levels, eg costemtic mods, brake upgades etc
Re: 2 Drivers + 1 car + 1 insurance cover....can it = both drivers fully comprehensiv
True but if you have your own NCB then you will not lose this unless you do not have your own policy for a 2 year period. Some companies claim to offer 'named driver NCB' but usually it is only the...

I doubt very much you'll get a refund but if you think you'll be doing similar miles next year then it is worth looking at a resticted mileage policy
As I say, no offence meant although I understand you batting this back at me.
I just wanted to point it out as a lot of people read things on forums and take them as gospel, I see this time and time again.
The main point I was making is what worked for you may not necessarily work for someone...
yes and no, my company may be small in comparison to the likes of the company you have mentioned but the underwriters we deal with are most certainly not.
yes, with a lot of insurers, an increase in mileage may not cost mega bucks and for the sake of having a valid policy if you claim, I know what I'd be doing if I was nearing my mileage allocation.
I'd be after that in writing Will, what happens if you claim and they check the mileage is over what you stated you would do, you would not have a leg to stand on if they refused to pay out for your claim.
In this case you have been lucky I feel.
You have been lucky, that doesn't mean that the next ClioSport member who goes down this route will be. Insurers can and will carry out some very careful examinations and investigations. Fair play it worked for you but ( and I am not meaning to be rude...
It will vary wildly from company to company so someone else's answer will not help you.
The bare bones are, if you want to be legally covered and you are covering more miles then you stated, you must declare it.
Apologies but if it is an 'M' Manchester postcode it is an excluded area for us. If the car is standard (no mods) then we can quote but it is hard to predict whether we will be competitive or not.
Fraudulent claims, people taking the mick with PI claims, the snow, the recession etc etc.
I insure three cars and my insurance price went up on all three and I work in the industry!
Try shopping around, feel free to give my company a call on 02083645500.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum where lots of members have posted up how much they pay.
Excellent.
Paul, I think you have been called back now but PM me if you haven't, I'm working on a remote desktop today so dont have access to the sales team like I usually would.
Oh, we close at 5.30pm today folks..
A thing of beauty and you have good taste.. the only thing I would have done different is keep the the engine hoses black.
I'm playing around with a little project Uno Turbo at the moment but it wont look anywhere near as good as your R5!
Good work!
Ollie
That is not true, we do cover cups. I believe someone posted recently that we didn't, when I queried this apparantly they had mixed us up with another insurer.
Feel free to PM me if you would like for me to arrange a call back for you
