A couple of friends have started a ‘mini gumball’ type rally in the north east of England and call it the Jack Rabbit Rally. They organise 2-day rallys all-over the UK. I have completed a few of these now however the last one to Wales to visit the Evo Triangle was the best by far, so thought I...
Yes it’s a little out the way but it wasn’t too bad for us because we done this on the way back from Venice. We stayed in a little village called Vernagt the night before. It has a beautiful little lake if anyone is looking for a place to stay I would highly recommend it.
I do normally like...
Before my trip I was really looking forward to completing the Stelvio Pass, mainly due to the fact Top Gear voted it the best driving road in the world, however I have to say I was little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, this this is a good road, and you definitely need to tick it off your...
Where I can see enough of the road ahead to see there's no on coming cars I like to use 'the racing line' as it's much smoother than staying on one side of the road all the time. I am guessing thats why you think I am alover the road?
I recently completed my third road trip across Europe. As I had already been to Switzerland a couple of times before I wanted to try some of the less well-known passes. I recorded two of these, the Fluela Pass and San Bernardino Pass.
As I found these to be better drives than some of the...
I was on a training course up this way with work last week, took the work Audi down this road on the way home. Even the 3.0 diesel loved it, and this road gets better every time I drive it!!
Me and a couple of friends spent last weekend climbing Ben Nevis. These group of friends are all so very into cars. (Cars and hiking are two hobbies that go together very well as the best hikes seem to be only a couple of miles away from some of the best driving roads) Anyway a few weeks before...
Very close!! I S**t when I just seen a pair of Audi headlights coming towards me! It’s hard to tell in the video but I brake really hard, if I didn’t I think he would have hit me because he was still overtaking the bikes!
I have finally getting round to sorting some of the GoPro footage of my euro trip back in June! I made these videos mainly for family and friends however I thought I would share this here in case anyone was thinking about doing a similar trip (do it, it's awesome!!)
With this being the first...
Yes mate, I have seen a couple of R26’s around Stanley. There is a really nice purple coloured one I have seen a few times, didn’t realised they did one in that colour but it looks really good.
I am always up for a ride out, don’t go on this forum as much as I used to but I will keep my eye...
I was a little nervous at first but now I have done it I think it’s almost better doing it on your own as you can pull over whenever you want and do some ‘holiday’ type activities rather than just solid driving.
I would recommend it to anyone! I am thinking about doing Italy and the south of...
Thanks guys. It was an amazing trip. Would recommend it to anyone!
I have no idea how you can tell from them photos but yes mine is a manual. People say i made a mistake buying a manual because it wont be worth as much when i sell it. However I drove a number of duel clutch cars and although...
Hi,
I was posting this on another forum so thought I would share a couple of photos from the road trip that me and my girlfriend completed a couple of weeks back with you guys as well. The main destinations where Nurburgring, Munich (BMW), German Alps, Swiss Alps, Black forest, Paris then...
I have been quite enjoying some of the project build series on youtube lately. My favourites are Toms turbo garage he has a cool mx5 he is putting a LS3 v8 into. Also mighty car mods had a good series called ‘gramps’ (some of the other content on mighty car mods isn’t great mind). Just wondering...
Thanks buddy. I had a really good day! Just wish it was a little bit more dry so I could have push a little bit harder. Had to fight the back end a few times. Guess thats part of the fun though :)
My favourite picture of the day is this one:
Yes the m3 will be on the track at some point. Nurburgring in late september or early next year and maybe coft cos its local. Wont be getting tracked all the time as this is my daily drive.
I was wondering when someone would comment on the vest. The nurburgring was 33 that day and didnt want to...
Thanks guys. It is a step up, I drove a lot of cars in the last 2 years and nothing seemed a big enough step up from the clio for the money that needed to be invested. (RS, megane sports, etc.) and it come down to a toss up between the m3 and an evo 10. After driving both the m3, although more...
Lovely car mate. I have had mine about 6 weeks now and love it. I went for the manual though. I am also tempted by some competition wheels, before I got mine I wanted to get black grills and black wheels but now I am not so sure!
Here is mine :) Absolutely love the sound it makes, don't think...
