    No idea mate. The alpine 30 pin cable has something to do with the headunit itself so for some reason the 30 pin adaptor works

    I;ve found the solution to my headunit problem, apparently with the Alpine units, keeping the existing 30 pin cable from Alpine but just adding a 30 pin lightning adaptor sorts it all out!

    Thanks I thought so but worth an ask! Xbox will be helping top up Sony's profit anyway with the rumoured blu ray being implemented. Surely they'll have to step up the Playstation Network though
