ok well, the cam belt is probably the single most important maintanence item on your car, the AUX belt is probably the 2nd most as if it goes, it can take the cam belt with it.

i wouldn't think it would be and ICV iuf its hunting, assuming its not idle is not too low? it just hunts?
CTS - Coolant Temp Sensor. That would also cause similar issues - they are also cheaper and easy to change ;)
i meant PROPER vvt.
The VVT isnt really very 'variable', It just has 2 settings, and one of those is used only at idle, and just to meet emissions.
and tbh, the vvt system on the F4R 830 isn't exactly "proper"
1st of all, why? the only gain you'll really get is to say that you have VVT.
the only real improvements in the 197 was in the chassis development.
Save yourself some time and money and just buy a faster car - or just enjoy the clio for what it is

Yeah, his workshop is in godstone. They give a courtesy car anyway regardless of insurance and trust me, the excess would "dissappear"
