Not wanting to become Pro? On £200! Setting your standards high I see, I like an optimist. Just get a used DSLR-stick it on manual and learn photography! It ain't Rocket Science or Quantum Physics.

It's a stop gap going back to DSLR, I need to make money - the old D3 is my work horse.

Just picked up what I consider to be my dream lens, a Nikon Nikkor 50mm Ai-S F1.2. Using it on a D3 is sublime, looking forward to getting some portraits done.

Buy this for the lens and the flash for strobist work.

Only reason I say this is - autofocus on most DSLR types is pretty useless in video situations, with either hunting or motor noises. If working @ f1.4 this is magnified massively. If you already own an auto lens it's advisable to chuck it all into MF. Most pros stick an old manual lens on.

Only use manual for video.....that's my experience
