    AFAIK yes. I have some 195/50R16 A048s to fit so I'll soon find out. There could be issues if you're lowered too much.

    You just use 195/50R16 or 205/50R16 they are wider than normal 195/205s though so 195s will probably do you.

    Steering wheel position sensor caused this on mine. It feeds into the ABS and ESP computer to help it work out if it's skidding or just going round a corner. It had had an after market steering wheel on though.

    Think I've figured this one out myself. The forced induction will give you all the compression you need. Low comp pistons just means more space for more air = more oxygen = more power. So I guess it's forged rods you need to increase the boost and low comp pistons just get you more power? And...

    Maybe I should have put this in the "clio discussion". If a mod would like to move it that would be cool. Why do you need low comp pistons to allow increased boost? Seems counter intuitive to me.

    My 172 cup handled so much better than my cup packed 182 does. I haven't yet figured out if there is something wrong with the 182. Or whether that's the way it is.

    30k a year at the mo mostly mway/dc. I just do the normal service intervals with fully synth oil. No significant probs at 132k in a 172 cup. I've just switched to 182 for daily driving, cup is now my toy car. Only difference seems to be it uses a little more fuel.

    Top mounts like you say seeing as you've swapped everything else. 205 tyres will probably make it worse.

    132k 174BHP ATF on Jamsport's rollers just 1k miles ago. Only mod (at the time) K-tec stealth. Currently fitting 428s, decat, matched inlets and panel filter :-) And that's on the Cup.

    With mine the allen socket snapped before the bolt undid. Garage with a buzz gone got them off in seconds. Fitting was free as it was in the group buy :-) I believe it is 250 ish though.

    Power station fitted mine in about an hour, then spent 3-4 hours aligning them. So fitting is only a small part of the job.

    Just tried to charge me 73 quid for a fairly small and simple gasket between the cam cover and oil separator. He then added that prices are going up on 1/4/09 so buy anything you need before then!

    Yes you can get them from Renault. Some you don't need, some you can fab yourself and some you can get after market versions.

    172 cup gearbox

    The 172 cup doesn't have ABS hence it has the speedo output. I'm pretty sure it's a JC5 129 with lower ratios than a 172 ph1.

    What do you use to lock the crank?

    It's 8mm actually. You don't use it when tightening the crank pulley though you remove it and that's the bit I'm asking about.
