I think the only way is to either trade in or sell the car privately and pay off. Only problem is she will probably still be paying the interest so would be in negative equity as you say.

I always here people saying why are games not the same graphics as cgi yet? I take it this is because the hardware just couldn't render it in real time? So in that sense are we a long time away from near "real life" graphics?

I done the same and swapped it for a derv, a mistake i learned from.

You can't afford to run a 2l but you can afford to change your engine for something to do? I think you should just save your money and wait to buy a better car.
