Yeah it's one of these annoying intermittent faults Mark, my first 1.2 done the same never got round to what it was. It' must be some kind of sensor or something. Quite common I believe.

Happened a few times now, each time the engine has been warmed up and running for a while.
Basically sometimes when I go above 5k on a blast the car just puts itself in to limp mode. Turning on and off clears it and all is fine after that. The first time I just assumed I had hit the limiter and...
Arrived to its new home after the 400 mile trip. Even though the car was still clean, had to find an excuse to try out the new snow foam lance.
