I thought I should have, that's the reason I posted the thread lol
I just got the mount (rubber) the top hat, the top nut and the bearing. No spacer nut :/
I've got the horrible top mount 'knock' so I've ordered the top mount kit from Renault, part number 543A09780R.
Was just wondering if this has the revised nut with it as the nut in the box looks different to the revised nut I had previously a couple of years ago.
Any pictures would be great of...
Hi all, looking to get some recaro trendlines but they are the other end of the country to me.
What's the size and weight of them as I think I may need this to arrange a courier service.
Regards
Barry
That's the way it goes though mate, mine has currently run up a £500 bill, driveshaft has decided to go and I'm doing everything else at once [emoji21]
Yeah I am mechanic by trade too mate, but when it comes to my own car though I panic lol and I have to ask for advice. I just presumed that pipe was blocked off still so didn't give it a thought, till last week I was fiddling and heard it hissing under the battery lol looks like battery acid (or...
Let me know how the blanking off goes mate. Mine has had the acoustic valve removed too, and found that the pipe (mine had a pipe attached still) had a split in it and was leaking vacuum.
It has run rough for over a year and I've replaced several bits before finding this. I just can't test mine...
My Renault do 5 litres for £35. When I was looking around it was near £10 a litre for other brands so thought, for £5 more I'd rather buy the proper stuff and have spare
There shouldn't be no, but I'm pretty certain it's just a clio thing. I've seen loads of reports similar to mine where when the wheels are spaced out equally, they aren't equal in the arches.
I'm running wide wheels, and the drivers side is wider than the passenger.
It has been noted by a fair few people I believe so if it's the passenger that needs shimming then I wouldn't worry :)
What's that posted to norfolk mate? And they definitely fit okay? What could not fit about them then for them to tell me otherwise?
I will let you know :) thanks for the help, I will just have to wait it out, car is now undriveable so nothing I can do [emoji30]
That's what I thought, surely an exchange shaft for a 182 cup pack will fit the same as a new shaft? Lol they are normally fairly good up there too :/
Is that new mate, or an exchange? What's the price if you don't mind me asking?
Yeah direct from Rawlinsons Renault mate, I've had an exchange unit (presume recon) on order for 3-4 weeks but phoned yesterday to check and they have now told me it won't fit 'cup packed' cars
Hi all, my drivers side driveshaft is knackered (182 cup packed)
I ordered an exchange shaft but it's not available yet and they don't know when it will be but they Are now telling me they reckon the exchange shaft they offer won't fit so it will have to be a brand new one, I've heard the same...
Just had a listen under the bonnet and can hear a hissing.
I found the vacuum pipe that goes to the inlet (connects just after the throttle body on the front of the inlet) isn't connected to anything (had the acoustic valve removed) so it's just sucking air. Being after the throttle body I would...
