Considering how often this 'offer' cropped up on Littlewoods (same company), I really don't think it's an error as such, they wouldn't make the same mistake that many times.

I prefer the looks of the Ph1, if I had the money it would be a Ph1 all the way for me. Blue if I could ever find one, Mars second but wouldn't exactly be disappointed with Silver either.

Remember they charge the full amount first, then credit your account with the discount. Littlewoods used the exact same process (same company?) and it didn't always work.

I believe many DSLRs actually 'fake' anything lower than the base setting anyway, ISO200 is standard on my D90, the ISO100 mode is actually just a processed version of the ISO200 image. The only reason the special 'lo' modes exist is to try and replicate an ND filter if you've left it at home...

All brilliant, but that wider Paddock Hill slow-pan is a beauty. In fact, as good as the closer stuff is, the wider shots are all particularly excellent. Pretty darn sharp by the looks of things, and nice variation in the angles/framing.

Not worried about unlocking the actual Blu Ray side of things as I will be starting from scratch with those and iirc many are region free anyway. It's mainly about preserving my rather large collection of R1 DVDs...I think a cheapish multiregion upscaling DVD player alongside the Blu Ray might...

The first official shots released have had seriously contrasting opinions, namely - the rain shot looks incredible, the sunny shot looks awful/blurry/bloomy/soft etc. I've no idea what that particular hazy effect is or why it's used so often in 'next gen' games, but it looks horrible.

Any tips? Preferably well under £200? Just got a Samsung 37" 1080p so fancy going down the Blu-Ray route, but the DVD aspect of it needs to be multiregion as 90% of my DVD collection is R1 or R3.

That does look unbelievably good, which concerns me slightly. No driving game has yet combined ridiculously good graphics AND great AI, it's pretty much always one or the other. I hope this is the first to break that trend.

A rare day one purchase for me assuming it's as good as expected. Forza 3 single-player experience isn't great (too much car variation, so races are rarely close) but as this is obviously roughly equal cars it should throw up some much closer battles with the AI.

I hope nobody spent too much time adding USF1 to the game... My big wish for the game is customizable single player races. Forza 3 failed big time by restricting you to 2 or 3 laps, anything less than the option to do up to and including full race distance will be a huge negative for F1 fans.
