'Damage', no. But there does seem to be a risk of losing data, officially the line is this...
as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained trophies, and not being able to restore certain data.
Never even crossed my mind to be honest, I'm going to Bath on Sunday so will give London Camera Exchange a go first, they have always been good to me in there.
Cheers!
Any trustworthy Nikon owners here who have a longish fast lens capable of accepting a 1.4 Teleconverter (so will need to be f2.8 or f4 ideally)?
I've finally got my Sigma 120-300 2.8 working (for now, before I can afford to send it off for repair) but it won't play ball with my TC at all. I...
Sweet, I've been looking most days to see when the Big Picture shots would start going up. Some amazing stuff there, I've been watching a lot, noticing cool angles and wondering what sort of access photographers have to things like the Luge etc, especially now that remote cameras are a massive...
NHL 10 is the pinnacle of hockey games, it's finally replaced NHL 93 for me as my hockey game of choice. It's the best sports title I've played in years, I now exclusively play in Be A Pro mode (where you just control yourself), it works brilliantly and feels far more natural.
NHL 09 is also...
DLC on Wii, 360 and PS3 this summer, 2D, set straight after Sonic and Knuckles, and Sonic is the only playable character. Sweeeeeeeeeeeet!
Sonic 4: Episode 1 Teaser (old, but genuine...)

Please be good.
I'm getting kicked a lot, ironic considering I've only ever caused one incident. I wouldn't mind if I was super slow, but despite much slower fastest lap times I'm often getting up to 2nd or 3rd by the final lap through consistency...it's then that they bash me off the road and I end up last.
8 away from every single event in the Event List? That's insane, I completed the standard 6 years of Career but that's only about 25% of the event list...and even that's been about 60hrs of driving already.
My observations from my first proper online gamng experience:
- Most classes have an almost unbeatable car/tune, drive anything else and it's a lonely race. Should be public lobbies with single make races to make it about driver skill, I played about 20 races today and only had competitive...
Does anyone on CS still organize private races? Just started playing online and completely fed up with angry kids smashing me off track every two minutes!
It's, imo - by some distance - the nearest thing to a sim on a current gen console. Forza 3 does lovely loose handling that's great fun, but for hot lapping it doesn't really cut it. I've not had this much enjoyment just racing AI or doing time trials since F355 Challenge on my DC.
Couldn't find a thread on this, I guess I'm in the minority here looking at how well it did, but it's hands down the best sim on any console ever.
Other half got it for me as a small present for Christmas (only £7.99 apparently) but I thought I better drain a bit more life out of Forza 3 before...
The Arcade is Jasper now, has been for some time iirc.
Main thing is a HD will be needed to install quite a few cars and tracks (on the second disc), and also to view replays etc.
A few people have tried to complete COD: Modern Warfare 2 without actually doing much, not sure what the record is but you can complete the game without shooting very many people at all.
Not sure about dumbed down, but definitely way, waaaay easier. Many games were incredibly brutal in the 8/16 bit era. Ikaruga is the only recent game that reminds me of how hard games used to be.
Definitely depends on the game, the 3rd person mode in Fallout 3 was horrible (as it was based on a first person camera and needed constant adjustments) so I couldn't play that at all, made me proper sick. That's the only 3rd person game ever to have an impact on me, GTA etc are all absolutely...
Never going to find it in this thread if it already exists, but what's the deal with using your iPhone abroad? I'm on a standard £35 per month O2 package.
Travelling around the US later this year and would like to upload a few photos (I've got a direct connection to my Smugmug site), as long...
I'm assuming people on contracts are fine? I've never given it any thought to be honest, have used Wifi in numerous places before (Wetherspoons, McDonalds etc) and have never been prompted, it just connects.
3rd person has its place, Batman: AA, Uncharted 2 and Assassins Creed 2 are all most definitely 3rd person games that wouldn't work in first person. There are more than enough FPS games out there so it's good to have some variation.
From a selfish point of view: 3rd person is a must as FP gives...
It does work really well, Grand Slam Tennis is also superb with M+ once you've mastered it, amazing depth to the controls.
In a few years, the Natal/Wand crowd will be raving about stuff that Wii players have been enjoying for ages ;)
I loved my 172 Cup, but I voted for the Mk1 V6 as it's the sort of car that is likely never to exist again, is completely bonkers, and Renault deserve massive credit for actually signing off on it. No other mainstream manufacturer has done anything remotely that insane.
172 Cup a close second -...
