Sort the audio out... and that's about it! At the moment I'm loving it 'standard' (it's got the only mod it really needs which is a decent exhaust).
Cheers for the advice.
Was probably looking at getting an Alpine head unit, but how do I know which ones are compatible? Ie. where the range stops being entry level?
I'm looking to get a new headunit, so that I can use an aux in and occasional USB (although that's not vital).
I just need to know how to (if possible) retain use of the steering wheel controls and also the LCD info.
1) What do I need to look for on the new headunit to support these/what...
I was close to going to see this, but I think it has 8 previous owners which put me off a little, and I was holding out for a RB one. The history looks excellent though so I'm sure it's fine for the money.
Hi all,
Been registered on here for ages since owning a Mk1 16v many many years ago!
Always wanted to try a 182, so after 3 weeks or so of waiting for the right one to come up, I went and bought a RB 182 this afternoon, and feeling pretty damn pleased right now! Such a good fun car, can't...
That is disgusting. One of the worst Clios Ive ever seen.
WTF is the thing on the boot next to the 3rd brake light?!

I have no beef with you Chris - been totally honest throughout. I managed to get a visit to the sea in as well while I was down, so not a totally wasted trip!
But is there any chance of getting the 2l lump repaired?!
Lol I cant believe it either. Dont think its sunk in yet.
3 1/2 hour train journey down to Kent, to find the cars decided to die. Then 3 1/2 hours back again and here I am!
It was running soooo sweetly the other night when we went out in it as well. Damn Clios!
Is there no way of...

Yeah, errm thatd be me then! No sooner had I sold my valver than I decide to go and get another one! Albeit just a little quicker!
Ps. I think everyone should move to Kent...
I have what I assume is the standard Ph 1 immobiliser key where you connect the key to the slot before it allows you to start the engine.
I wondered, are the keys universal? I need a replacement as the plastic which holds it on my keyring has snapped meaning I have to keep it seperate, which...
When I went to see Ben Js Clio last week he had an on-screen MPH/rev counter display computer thingy - it was wired to his ECU and pretty clever.
Anyone know what Im talking about, or where I can get one?
He doesnt know as it was a pressie apparently!
Worst I have had is a producer - although I was doing 36 in a 30 so have to be grateful to the cops on that occasion. Just shows what a bit of friendly chat can do.
Although they were blatantly only stopping me to find out if I was pissed - was about midnight on a Friday night.
