I agree a low mileage on around 60k or less may be worth money, but where I am its about a 600 mile round trip to get the belts done, then refurb turini's , paint handles , then once your £1500 is spent on a £3000 car your left with a 95k 182 that has cost you around 5k plus travelling etc
Maybe its just where i'm based , and maybe a 160bhp n/a car with a bit of handling doesn't excite me that much any more
& about not driving one ive done a good 20k in a trophy, and actually had the shocks rebuilt myself so certainly not a 'broken' trophy.
Yes no market for trophies, most buyers have little or no idea what the difference is between one and a normal clio, hence why its difficult to earn back what its worth.
I'm certainly not doing you any favours pal, I still have all the trophy items available , in which i may put back on at a...
special ? i believe about 50% of trophies sell the same way im selling the one that i have, mainly because there is no market for these any more, and idiots dont realise a well spec'd trophy to warrant handing over what it's actually worth,
and p.s the recaro's are still in it
Jeremy Clarkson also said the 5 cylinder focus st was a chav wagon and blah blah, i haven't heard anything sound as good as the st on full chat, each to there own i couldnt buy something boring for £10,000-£20,000 knowing how quiet and boring it would be!
and as for the comments about bodykits...
This thing sounds sweet and pops flames for fun! Couldnt get anything else close for the money it cost!
Planning 17" team dyanmics pro race 1.2s shortly !
how will it fail completely? The thermostat that sealed it was sealed with ptfe tape before this loctite gasket is meant to be a gasket so fully fit for purpose
Your thinking of the o ring that is removable, i have no leaks there, im on about the part where the plastic piece with three holes screws onto the housing, and also when the housing is bolted onto the block i can see the rubber seal around the thermostat poking out the top, i cant remember how...
No its coming from the join where the plastic pipe is receiving the rad hose, has three screws on it but doesnt appear to want to seal without a gasket :(
Sounds.. Interesting, back on topic about thermo housings if you dont mind?
i can only see the one seal where it meets the flange before joining to the head, anyway there appears to be no leaks there but i see no gaskets involved in the rest of the fitment?
Ok so fitted the roose motorsport matrix hoses no problemo, but the leak now lies at the new thermostat housing, where the rad hose goes into the open end of the thermo housing, the join appears to be leaking so have applied some loctite gasket ,
anyhow, how does one go about getting a hard...
Think it was advertised a few places, dissapointed with roose motorsport wouldve had the car back on the road this weekend if it wasnt for them taking forever to deliver my matrix hoses, ordered this time last week took friday off work to do the job and they are still a no show :( will get vids...
