Anyone? Just want to know if the latch on the boot lid should be able to be pushed by hand. If not, i need to look elsewhere for the problem.

After being banged from behind by and Audi, my boot doesn't catch on the lock. Its all aligned ok, but seems as if the catch on the boot lid is locked solid. Should i be able to push the catch in with a screwdriver? Can i fit another catch of another boot without anything else being changed...

I thought of getting it repaired myself, and selling it honestly as a CAT D. For maybe £600 instead of £1200. Would be such a shame to scrap the car. Either that or keep it - but then i wouldn't want to invest any money in her, on the Gbox for example... I like the idea of a new toy though.

Thing is, my car has just been declared a CAT D (minor boot floor damaged) So im not sure whether its worth spending the money on.. Sell on value of a CAT D must be 50% less i imagine.

How long could a 'whiny' gearbox go on for? I know it could vary, but has anyone lived with one for a few years of driving? thanks

Lol. Well on the subject of cockpit switches. The picture of the heated window on the climate panel - is that for the rear? My auto con light comes on with that :/

What does the twist function do on the wiper stalk? Doesn't seem to effect the speed of wipers.
