After being banged from behind by and Audi, my boot doesn't catch on the lock. Its all aligned ok, but seems as if the catch on the boot lid is locked solid.
Should i be able to push the catch in with a screwdriver?
Can i fit another catch of another boot without anything else being changed...

I thought of getting it repaired myself, and selling it honestly as a CAT D. For maybe £600 instead of £1200. Would be such a shame to scrap the car.
Either that or keep it - but then i wouldn't want to invest any money in her, on the Gbox for example...
