I would take the part exchange offer imo, as previous posters have mentioned the cost of a new gearbox on a 200 will lower the private sale price a large amount and could take a while to shift if people are not willing to purchase a car which needs this done.

Best Tyre spray to make them look shiny and new? I have some stuff in the garage which was an Aldi special buy I think, but its awful, doesn't even do anything.

I use a Tesco Mobile Sim only contract, well the initial 12 months ended so now I am on a 1 month rolling contract. Can't fault them, been really helpful when I have called them before.

Keep the car you have, then look for something that you can get your money out of the best, for example my 1.4 Clio at 17 was only £110 more than a 1.2, so I went for that. Sometimes a 1.4 can be cheaper just by the fact that the 1.2 is more common between young drivers I believe. Have fun...

What would be the best places to look for a leak that would cause this? Tomorrow I am going to have a good look in the car, boot and engine to ensure the water passages in the engine from the windscreen are clear.
