Look up "Win Percy" - rear tyre blow out at the Mulsanne Kink, somehow (goodness only knows how) managed to walk away from it

It's not all it's cracked up to be. To get to that road I need to drive along a few other beauties..... it can get hard to choose ;)

is the right-hand side of that exhaust only held on by the left, or is there a mount that I can't see?

What have you done to your car today ???

Came to the realisation that some t**t (not me) fitted too big a battery. Tried to work out why the hell my boot lid squeaks when I'm driving along - failed :(

Is this a normal sounding 182 engine? *Video*

Serious tech-noob question: Does the dephaser need changed? Or is it just a noise thing? Reason for asking being that Ford TDCi engines used to get a rattly idler but it never did anything other than make a noise when at tick-over

Is this a normal sounding 182 engine? *Video*

Just found out exactly the same thing about the 182 I picked up around three weeks ago :( the previous owner/garage had just taken it in to a normal garage so they've just done a normal belt change. Luckily mines not getting loud yet so I'll hold off getting the work down for a while - still...

    Subframe bent, best options?

Don't get me wrong, I'm fully aware that it would be a massive pain in the a**e to prove. But the pain of getting hold of what useful witnesses you can find is a hell of a lot less than the pain of £1,000+ repairs. remember though, if you had been hit (or were just able to catch the nobber on...

    Subframe bent, best options?

Are you telling me that if someone ran you off the road (which is apparently what happened here) and you had their reg no. you'd happily pay for the repairs yourself?

    Subframe bent, best options?

I take it you didn't get the Merc's reg number?

    Telephoto Lens

Sigmas are definitely hit n miss. I've got their 70 - 300 on a 350D and was struggling in near perfect conditions on Sunday (see the Knockhill track day thread). It's too slow to be of much use, I just consider myself lucky for getting anything at the weekend

Knockhill Hot Hatch Day, Sunday 21st October.

That was my mate Stu, with my fiancée in the passenger seat! Apparently the "shocks or alignment need some work" The Impreza through the gravel was a good one too, lucky he didn't collect one of the buggies!

Not a problem, fill yer boots! The full-hes versions are on Flickr so just download whatever you want. There was some cracking action even from a spectators point of view - do you know the lad in the yellow 172 or was that just a bitter track-based rivalry? :)
