First things first, my rear mounts are knackered so need sorting one way or another. What's the general consensus on the best approach though? There seems to be 3 ways of thinking from what I can see:
1. Replace with more standard units, suck it up and change them fairly often.

I've been thinking it's like someone's shoved an extra tin-can in the exhaust when cold. At idle it sounds all kinds of moody too!
Evening all,
I knew when I bought my car last week that the rear discs were shot, so luckily this is planned maintenance! I've got a good mechanic mate to change them (means I don't need to buy the 175Nm torque wrench!) but I'll get hold of the discs and pads.
A quick trawl of the internet...
Are there likely to be a few 172/182s up at this? Might just drive up for a look to see how mine should look, too early days to smash it round the track though (and I'd really like to go the normal way round, it's been 10 years!)

after struggling to sell my previous (grown up, boring) car, I've finally picked up this little piece of fun :)
All's good after the first 8 hours of ownership, one or two wee bits needing tidied at some point but otherwise just great fun!
