EDIT: no mention of factory fitted -

Headlamp levelling and cleaning devices when fitted for HID or LED headlamps"

I see that he's a tester, but two other garages (one very well known to the Scotlanders on this site, and the other being money grabbing bar stewards) have no issues with washers being removed.
Iirc the wording is that they "must work if fitted". So not having them fitted saw mine pass...
Nope, two garages (including the Kwikfit that tested it - took a chance there!) told me that they must work "if fitted". Mine are currently off the car and blanked off with electrical tape, passed MOT yesterday with no problem
What's the cure time for Tiger Seal in sh*tty British weather? 24hrs? I bet I'd move the wee buggers when I put masking tape on to hold them in place :)
Re: SUPER 1600 REPLICA based on 172, CLIO WILLIAMS Tribute, CLIO WILLIAMS IV (Austra
This thread give me a semi. I'd love to have the knowhow/cash to rock the S1600 look
Got the 182 through it's MOT with only an advisor for wear on one tyre (which I already knew about) - get in!
EDIT: this includes having the light washers deleted and currently blanked with electrical tape!
I was up Torridon at the same time for some mountainbiking. We were camping/vanning....... it was grim! Awesome area though, did wish I had the Clio on the way up/down!
FFS, I really should know that by now

Yeah it was in a pretty bad way, the state of the fiberglass doors would cause uproar on the group-buy thread ;)

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but........... MOTing with a sensor (engine) warning light on? Should still pass with that assuming emissions aren't effected?
Track car eh.....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Clio-172-Road-Track-Car-/251272662158?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a81048c8e perhaps?
Joe's already nailed it really, 172 and save a load of money for repairs/upgrades/fuel/tyres
At a guess, he was still having a bit of a race with the black car you briefly see in the background (or possibly the other yellow one you see off on the other side)
at smaller events the marshalling/1st aid can be horribly inadequate for a big incident. There's a really horrible video of a Lambo (iirc) crashing and igniting recently too, takes an age for anything to happen :(
OP, you shot your bolt too early! It should be
#1 - "182 with private plate on Ansty road was it you? Nice car, I'm a Happy Hardcore fan too!"
#2 - "yeh blud that wz me. Str8 blazin' up teh road. wurd"
#3 - "well cum stain, you were driving like a....."
etc, etc.
Much more fun that way ;)
I did indeed, just got it delivered today. Found a lad trying to sell one for way too much on ebay and manged to get him down a bit. Think he might have a drivers side one (I've got the passenger side) if you want his contact details?
