Car service and front discs changed (half price Brembos @ Kam Racing), and not a moment too soon - thought the discs were going to explode they were so f**ked!
Spoke to an MOT tester today whilst the car was in for a service (SWR in Stirling). They confirmed that if they aint on the car then it's a pass - even if you just blank them off with a piece of tape. Happy days!
I assume that really is all they do? Just slap some grease on it to keep the mechanism running freely?

The most retarded thing about this is that Elephant and Admiral are the same company, so they could've just saved everyone time and hassle by matching the quote (assuming you told them you were going to Admiral)

182s and Euro Car Parts are a poor mix. The guys in my local branch told me that 182s dont actually figure on their system at all, hence things like bringing up the wrong size of battery.
You'll do better searching this site than Euro's
Dave H might have a point, it's got nothing to do with fitting under the arch iirc, more to do with being able to launch other cars in the air if they contact the spinning wheel
Maybe think of it another way. If you got it for £3k, how much could you afford to spend on repairs, and how f**ked off would you be if it wasn't as good as he's making out? If you can handle those possibilities then you might be ok - not for me though.
