Hey hey, I have finished painting most of the car now :D The only bits left to do are the bonnet and back bumper, however I'm thinking I might leave the back bumper until I get a replacement thats not dented and cracked heh. I have decided to do the dented rear wing aswell just for colour match...

Bleh, clock face look like a kid ate playdo then vomited into dash cluster and the seats dont look as nice as the 197 recaro's. I like it even less again now, which is a shame because it looks like they made the effort to make it a better drivers car but I couldn't happily live with that daily...

I really really dont like the new front end, but I'll reserve judgement completely until I see one in the metal. I didn't like the 197 until I saw it at renault, and then I placed an order lol. The carbon fibre diffuser for the 197 looked a lot better than the new diffuser aswell imo...

It could be a VR6, they are only slightly 'V' shaped, ie by 10 degrees or something so they arent far from inline 6.

I think I've defo got a misfire but maybe some of the more mechanically minded can help... If I'm in 3rd gear at around 5k revs the power drops off completely then picks back up again shortly after, asthough I'm completely taking my foot off the accelerator then booting it again. Its only in 3rd...

Will keep it in mind when its time to go looking for a car. I'll never buy through auctions again though lol, the cars either aren't any cheaper than from dealers/private sellers and the ones that are are normally cheaper for a reason (I've known atleast 3-4 different cars in a 2 month period...

haha, but the only tips I have are rollers... just dont use fluffy ones ;) Its such a relief knowing I'll have some money again soon, and it just means that I can buy a couple of bits and pieces and have a go at fitting them with the reassurance that if I do it wrong I can take it to a garage...

Thats a shame mate, a few cars from Angelworks with the same story so far and thats only on CS.. So has Ben offered any kind of refund for work thats not been done? I'd expect to get most/all the labour charges you've paid back atleast (assuming you paid this upfront).

Strangely, this has been the least amount I've EVER spent on a car and yet I've never enjoyed owning another car this much haha. I've had other cars which were every bit as fun and enjoyable to drive, but once it was home it was parked and that was it back to watching TV or playing xbox etc...

cba reading the last few pages and i dont even have a clio anymore to really care, but the feel of the car can be very deceptive. The GTI's are turbo's so they will feel faster as it will have more torque than the 1*2, it doesn't mean it actually is faster though. My S13 feels faster than a 1*2...

Things are looking good, the DVLA Tax Online webpage says that there is a valid MOT and Insurance showing so I can tax it. I'm just waiting for the garage to phone so I can find out for sure then Project S13 should be road legal again!

after a minute or 2 it poors out smoke on idle, I was 99% sure it was the turbo seals that had gone but the mechanic has cast doubt in my mind.

I've dropped my car in today for turbo swap and MOT and the mechanic said: :(:(:(

close, wrong size though (and also the part worns I just bought were £25 for a pair ;)) :D
