Cub's Flamer - Supercharged, Cage etc

Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc' Just man up and get a friend to help you lift it out the top. If you're not strong enough between you to lift the block, seatbelt round the lifting points and a 6ft length of scaffolding pipe to life makes it easier.

Nope, no mount there. As you've said, you have the two rear box mounts, then one halfway up the car for the centre section.

    Replacing front shocks and springs

You don't need spring compressors for any 1*2 springs. Trust me

Gaitor seal bolts are 13mm's. ;)

You can undo just the top nut. Get an impact gun on it. Or spanner from underneath.

    Replacing front shocks and springs

Don't panic too much. You just need to turn the shaft and push it back into the box if you've still got the gaitor on it.

    Replacing front shocks and springs

Yep, you need to remove that bar. Won't jump up harshly, no. No need for spring compressors, so can save yourself a few quid there. Basically, once the shock and spring assy is off the car, undo the thin 17mm nut on top of the old shock, lift everything from the upper spring cap off the old...

    Clutch kit change at home

Yeah, the studs make it easier , but getting the back one on can sometimes be a pig. Once it's on both studs, simple. Just slide it up (as long as the clutch is aligned properly), If you get stuck with any bolts, post up a pic of them. One of us losers will recognise them I'm sure.

    Clutch kit change at home

Getting the box off is easy compared to getting it back on and lined up. Other than that, it's just reverse procedure to re-fit.
