Went to this show this morning with a couple of friends, one who's into Minis.
It's nothing compared to FCS and Trax etc but provided something to do and was a good drive there and back.
With it being indoors there was low light so it was difficult to get nice clear, sharp images but I've...
Yep, OZ F1's in a dodgy colour but function over form and all that, they will be my track wheels anyway but I'll be using them atm whilst I get the Turinis refurbed.
Eibachs, the red ones, think they're sportlines.
Should stick with 15's Paul tbh, tyres are so much cheaper and you could put the money towards coilovers. Then you can get it sat proper.
The 1.2? No, not yet.
Cheers, tweaked it so many times before I decided I was happy with it.
lol, they're all close to the legal limit with the nearside front on the limit and the markings on the sidewall have scrubbed off.
No it's finished it's just the mount needs packing to support the horrific weight of the k-tec backbox. It was packed with rubber inside it but it's come out. Only a cable tie remains, lol.
Martin got his K-tec exhaust fitted last week and has been begging me to get some more pics.
However the exhaust mount has collapsed already, lol. I've told him to pack it up with sockets as that's the only way to do it.
I'm just waiting on some new wheels turning up so I can get the new...
+1.
I've got 8000k bulbs too and when I've told people they have all been surprised at how they look, in fact some people thought they were 6000k before I told them, everyone just believes they are like police lights for some reason.
On the basis that they quoted £650 I'd go elsewhere tbh, however I've had a custom decat fitted and welded by powerflow in morecambe, they did an excellent job.
When I made a hint about the welding not being up to scratch I was told the welder has welded more exhausts than I've had hot dinners...
Re: 1.2 Track car Conversion
Nice one Rob I was considering this when I had my 1.4 but decided to get the cup in the end as I've not got the garage space and all the tools needed but great work so far, will be good to see it once it's done.
Sounds like you need an underseat subwoofer.
Something like this. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNDERSEAT-8-SUBWOOFER-600W-AMPLIFIED-ARMAGEDON-NEW-FL8-/120663514096?pt=UK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_Car_Speakers_PP&hash=item1c181b1bf0#ht_775wt_905
They fit under the front seat and...
Looks pretty smart, I wouldn't waste money on new bumpers though, just keep it as is and get the mouldings colour coded.
You need to update your profile btw, lol.
Oh, howcome you've bought a 1.4 after owning a 1.2 btw? Why not get the 1.6 or a sport?
Looks much better, the windows are pretty dark as they are anyway.
But lol @ professionally removing them, what's professional about removing what is basically a window sticker?
Whens your renewal?
I might have seen that colour on a 182 actually, meant to be the rarest colour, can't remember what it's called though.
Petrol Blue, that's it, don't think it's the same as yours though. Does look very similar.
lol, don't think I've seen that colour before. Thought it was black last time I spotted you.
Don't spend too much on it, your getting a 172 soon aren't you?
I prefer the cup spoiler personally and the exhaust is a little too big, silencer is too visible. Still looks good though, not many cups with standard colour wheels anymore.
