Been using the M4 on the Dragon Trail race, enjoyed a lot of the races to be fair even though there have been some idiots. Change of pace this afternoon working on creating a replica livery. Pretty pleased with it and will hopefully get some more races in tonight with it. (y)
Real car...
I'm enjoying learning the Dragon Trail track, just testing a few cars to see what I get on best with as the Lexus that I normally use was a bit of a bus. Like tonuse something different to the usual cars, Megane in this case.
Worked for me tonight. (y)
First few races in ages (Suzuka, Gp3), got a 8th, 9th and 10th which wasn't bad from the back. Just need to improve my qualifying time now!
Yes, I got an ethernet/USB hub thing and it's plugged into the router for power as well, nice and neat. (y)
Just looked at the admin page for it, blocked nearly 35% of my total web traffic so it's doing something!
I've got one on a Raspberry Pi Zero just plugged into the router and then I changed the DNS on each device to point to it.
It works very well on the tablet, nearly all ads blocked on websites. It did struggle with ads on the built in YouTube on my TV, I never really fiddled with it though...
My last one had a map and was somewhere around there, completely different to the standard car, much better at both low speed and making progress. It had one of the Tegiwa M intakes too, expensive at nearly £400 but what a noise!
Calipers are another common problem, both fronts and rears like...
Hey all,
Curious as to what the make/model of these are, they came on the car and look like they are missing the centre caps. They are 15 inch by 6 or 6.5, can't remember which. No other stickers or markings that I could find. Look similar to Yaris T Sport wheels but they don't have the centre...
Yeah it is a great circuit, good for the smaller cars. Shame there were a few red flags but I've seen worse, it didn't seem too busy either which was good.
Not had a PC to play this in years but that Primera mod was awesome. (y)
Been watching some of the ACC content on YouTube, makes me want to get back into it all.
The other one reminds me of the many hours I spent making a mod for rFactor with those. Looks like the same models too. 😂
Can get part worn PS3s in this size, ex-race ones but still with decent 5mm+ of tread (It's the spec tyre for the Ginetta Junior series). There's usually some on eBay. (y)
My car a Miltek resonated system and it was around 90dB on a static test I think - That was with a decat too (Little quieter now with a cat). I know it isn't exactly the same as yours but gives some idea. (y)
As long as the tyres are half decent with a good amount of tread you should be fine, better to do it just as is and see how it goes then upgrade over time.
It does, I've found qualifying really important too. The rolling starts can really mess you up, on some tracks there are massive gaps before the start. You need to be top 3 to stand any chance, but I don't tend to be good enough for that! 😂
Suzuka takes my fancy but it is the longer race...
Yep, your rating in comparison with others in the lobby.
Doesn't seem right does it, you try drive clean and as you say it gives you a penalty for being rammed!
You can actually see next weeks races on the Kudos site, if you click events they are listed below the current ones from about...
Ah, I've been stung by those penalties as well so nice that they have fixed them.
I've not seen anywhere that shows what split you are in, I think it may just be from knowing who the good players are. I may be wrong though.
On the ratings, your car number is your rank in the race too if you...
Good to hear you're getting on well with things now! Didn't do the Fuji one but watched a few videos, looked a good race with some strategy. What is A rating, 30k isn't it? Not too far away now.
Are those videos older ones? They used to use the same penalty system as single player, so slow down...
