£2K plus all the other gumph? erm never, i'll stick to good old air for free thanks! It doesn't cause any issues until you start getting silly speeds and forces involed IMO, stuff 95% of road cars can't do
you need the following
cambelt kit
aux belt kit
cam seal kit
dephaser (unless you are a pikey)
crank bolt
head set
head bolts
16 valves (worst case, approx £12 each on average)
cam plugs
plus 8-10hours labour for a mechanic that knows his arse from his elbow
Filling tyres with nitrogen is utterly pointless UNLESS the tyre is purged first which basically means you have to suck EVERYTHING under vaccum out of the tyre and then allow pure nitrogen in, adding nitrogen to atmospheric pressure tyres is the dumbest thing i've heard of, kwikfit and the like...
oh i agree 4pots are better, but still not a must, i never had fade issues in the Yoz monster and that thing didn't hang about ;)
PF97 pads, brembo discs, lines, fluid, if you get fade out of PF97 pads you need to look at your driving in my "knows best" opinion :rasp:
well if you compare a 5W40 engine oil to say a 75W90 gearoil in just viscosity terms they're MILES apart, 130degC is nothing
i'll double check but im sure the sadev boxes ran a 75W140 elf gearoil, it was like treacle, we had to heat it in a pan before pouring it in as it took AGES!
