    4hours labour! we charge 1.5 plus oil + filter + gasket, did he go to the pub halfway through? there's a set procedure in torquing up the bolts

    only at temp though, higher the number the higher viscosity at a given temp, first number is at 0degC, second number is at 100degC, i forget how viscosity is measured, its been a few years since my brain had to do clever stuff, ask oilman

    Same as engine oil, its the viscosity rating, it doesn't get thicker as you heat it lol! It just doesn't thin out as much basically. Ie a 75w80 and a 75w90 you'd have to heat the 90 more to make it the same viscosity as the 80

    won't fit the rocker cover, breather plate on 172 and 182 differ, you can bodge it though

    yeah the exhaust finishes way before the bumper , the tailpipes that attach to the diffuser have a built in deflector/heatshield

    i got done in London, the stickies that hold the plate on had started to come away from the bumper on the V6 so instead of letting it fall off i pulled it off and stuck it on the dash, £60 fine!
