Totally forgot about Barrysworld. We played in the BWCSL where you had to pay to enter, great way of ensuring people turned up.
Also I notice that ClanBase has shut down. Sad times :(
Started just before 1.0 was released so some time in 2000. Times were much simpler then, mostly played Dust or assault on American servers rocking a 56k. After a while we upgraded to ISDN and played on mostly UK / European Servers, Jolt 7 be the best public server iirc. ISDN is the ultimate...
de_dust2 - Massively over played from around CS 1.6 onwards but my god it's a fantastic map. Reasonably even sided but with the right tactics you could dominate an opponent. The variation of tactics available for the map is incredible and there was always new techniques coming out (4K stacking...
Store won't be able to do anything. iPhones are usually pretty quick to get unlocked through EE so something will have gone wrong somewhere. I wouldn't bother with Twitter or anything, just call 150 from your phone or the normal customer services number and tell them what has happened so far and...
Looks nice, task-view looks very much like Expose in OSX which works well. I'm intrigued by the pricing structure they will use for this, with Apple going free with OS updates I wonder if Microsoft can stomach doing the same for desktops. When you look at all the other costs involved with...
If it's the i-Plate they are talking about then yep, easiest thing to install ever. You can buy them from Maplins as well:

Certainly helped at my parents house, increased from around 1.5mb to 3mb. IIRC the filter just cuts off the...
I'd love to see the DMZ from the South Korean side, I've heard it's a lot more strict. We were able to wonder round for 15 minutes taking photos with the guards and things.
North Korea was just amazingly surreal. Pyongyang is absolutely stunning and the monuments and things are staggering (the...
Some from my trip to North Korea:
DMZ
Inside the centre building where negotiations took place
Overlooking Pyongyang from the roof of the Grand Peoples Study House
Overlooking the Juche Tower (Juche is the ideology thought up by Kim Il Sung)
Monument of the Party Founding
Mine did exactly the same thing this weekend, little c**t. I'd only really buy from reputable sources and I don't think you're gonna get it much cheaper than the Apple store.

Theres the link to the student store, £7.40 off which...
So I've been lusting after one for a fair while now, my 500 is broken and ready to go back to the finance company so I decided it was time to buy myself a Z4.
04 2.5, red chairs, Sat Nav, bluetooth, multifunction wheel, heated seats, television, xenons, pretty much every option ticked really...
But it runs OSX which is seen as better for battery life than Windows, hence the all day battery claim that is backed up by independent tests.

Yep, it'll feel a bit different and take a day or so to get used to everything but the vast majority of people that I know that have converted from Windows to Mac have said they will never go back.
People will probably steer you away from Macs due to price but they are worth having a proper think over. A 13" MacBook Air will do you a full day battery life easily, built extremely well so highly likely to last you the whole time you are at Uni, stupidly lightweight and extremely fast to boot...
Yeah, unfortunately you're in that annoying place of having to upgrade everything because everything has moved on. Thankfully decent spec gaming components these days are much better value than they were 5 or 6 years ago. You can spend around £500 on everything (probably less) and get something...
I don't think the AMD with ATI was so important back when that CPU was released, it's only really been in the last few years that it has become a thing.
First off is the OS HDD an SSD? If it isn't then swap that out for a Samsung 840 Evo, it will help out a little in games but it will transform...
You can probably do it yourself on the site, hopefully you can export the bills/call history in to excel to make things easier. It'll only show messages you have sent though.
I may be completely wrong but I believe your keyboard is split in to 2 separate circuits as such (circuits is probably the wrong word but its the only thing I could think to describe it). The F5 and F6 keys are on the left side, the F7 and F8 are on the right side and your keyboard has a maximum...
Apologies I should have elaborated some more, I can do YouTube (although a little flakey) but I can't do the airplay mirroring as above. You can mirror your iPhone or iPad display to an ATV or mirror / extend your desktop on a Mac to ATV which I believe you can't do on a Pi. It also struggles...
I have a Raspberry Pi in my bedroom and an ATV2 in the lounge. ATV is certainly a much more polished device (as expected) and runs XBMC faster than the Pi when I use it. The Pi isn't great with AirPlay, sometimes choppy and doesn't do video (as far as I can see, I've not really looked in to it...
It could be overheating but that tends to manifest itself as small white pixels over the screen, make sure you clear the dust from the heat sync on it though. Tried a different cable to the monitor? Ya never know!
