My 172 was averaging around 37-38 and I'm averaging 33-34 in the 200. I don't drive stop start around towns/ cities everyday. My driving is B road stuff mainly. I'm guessing the consistency is helping. Im just going from my own personal experience. Each to their own.

Don't know what all the bad MPG talk is about. Theyre great cars, Recaros are a must in them IMO. The standard seats look lost in the mk3 Clio.

I've just driven to Le mans, 600 miles so far, got 410 miles to a tank! Can't see how people complain about the 197/200's mpg. 70 on cruise control all the way.

Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news Sounds lovely, looks boring (unless they do put a wider arch) Handling looks pretty good from the corner and exit speed? I think it's going to be pretty pricey too because of the gearbox. IMO

I am really pleased with the mpg I get from my 200. 35 mpg I'm averaging, then on a motorway run. 70 on cruise, 38 mpg. Always been happy with the running costs.

Everyone moaning at him. Shocking. Be happy for him! If you enjoy cars, why not pay for a nice one? I bought my 172 at 18, and paid £3000 insurance! Was worth every penny IMO. It's what got me into cars more and more so, into the Renaultsport range. I'm now 21 with a 200 cup paying £700 fully...
