Everyone is saying avoid? Lol. No one even knows what colour smoke it is.
And if the car is a minter as you say, if it's the right price an engine rebuild is nothing.
Again, if the price is right. I'd rather have an engine rebuild and know what exactly has been done to the engine.
i own a DCi 65. its quick enough tbh. its a car that is more than capable of keeping with the flow of traffic, safe over taking and all that. i dont mind it. they are turbo's just dont have an intercooler. quite nice to drive
65hp and 160 nm of torque so the turbo is a really good help.
theres bargains out there atm. bought my other half an 03 plate 172, 62k. fsh with belts done for 1500.
EDIT: not cat registered, totally straight one i meant
this is probably the best choice i think then:

seems a good price
Hi there
My Clio 1.5 DCi has started to show signs of a worn turbo.
The help I need is finding the best/cheapest place for replacement internals.
The housing will be fine has its hardly been driven since showing signs of wear.
I can see that catridges are available on Ebay but if...
Its been proven it is the best renaultsport clio mk2. im not saying its the best in my opionion, as a standard Renaultsport clio, it comes out on top. simple as that. thats what they're saying.
and the suspension is close to 1k if your lucky to find some, and the seats are around that price...
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
im not too clued up on prices with the 182's, but i know the LY brings a premium. i would have thought around the 4-4.5k?
Just to ad, that car looks stunning
i dont think your seeing the point here. no one is putting a point across of which they prefer.
the fact is, the Trophy IS the best. not a personal opinion. the Trophy is limited, has recaro seats and had Sach suspension.
too much faffing around with those universal kits. probably hve to a some pipes and all that.
better off buying a DCi intercooler and buying the standard pipe work or stainless ready made for the DCi
Just come across these. seems a good price imo.

anyone else think so?
Hi there,
so with all of my 172 parts sold and gone and have room back in the garage. It was on to buying something cheaper to run with the millage im doing. Then when that settles down, ill buy something with performance again :)
So, for the time being ive bought myself a Clio DCi
2003
94k
3...
they're hard to find second hand. personally i think any intercooler like the 80 model will be a big improvement over not having one at all.
not looking for big bhp on mine as its not that type of car, just want it more efficient.
Hi there
i have a 65 Clio DCi and it's the model that doesn't come with an intercooler.
few questions i need answering.
Does the kangoo intercooler fit? as they seem to be cheaper to buy than a clio one.
one ive seen, does look simular in the pictures, same outlet positions etc, but not...
the filters dont have to be genuine. just it comes with good quality oil. works out cheaper getting it all together, the fuel filter is £27 on its own.
Also, is this a good make cambelt...
Are there any better prices for a good quality Full Service kit?

Anything Else i should buy?
