I'm gonna try this as mine been out of warranty since day one. I've had it open a few times now so shouldn't take long. i'll let you know how it goes.......
not impressed at all:mad: not playing on line is'nt a problem really for me its the fact i cant play any of the 3 games ive tried in it, mw2, avp and tekken 6 all refuse to load:dapprove: they need to sort this out asap......
mongoose are pretty good for the mk1's, they are an absolute b*****d to get to fit right and not bang on the rear beam but once done should be perfect, Ive had mine fitted to the car for at least 5 years now and it hasn't fallen off yet:D
btw for anyone who downloaded the old demo on ps3 it might be worth downloading it again as the demo has now been fixed and is alot easier to get into games:)

just been playing this with a few friends for the last hour (on ps3). it plays well imo, graphics are better than expected after reading some of the comments in this thread lol. anyway i'll be buying it next week:D
I've been using yellowstuff for just under a year, very good pad imo and my discs are still fine. i used redstuff before these and found they wore out very quickly hence going to yellowstuff. offer good bite from cold and even better once up to temp:D
friend of mine has just got a 02 172 ff , he was out in it today and said he pulled out of a junction started to wheelspin ( it was wet ) heard a loud bang and felt the car shudder then lose all drive. it will go in to gear but wont drive forward, the speedo will go up as if the car is moving...
180bhp/900kg = 203.21bhp per ton
thing is this only tells a small part of the story as i was at 177bhp before and same weight giving 199.82bhp per ton but since the headwork and new cams have been fitted ive gained alot of torque/bhp throughout the rev range, it just makes its peak 1k rpm...
good day yesterday:cool: ive started a new thread in media so we can all post our graphs, it would be good if we got most of the graphs up that ran so other owners get an idea of what works and what doesn't. try and post a graph and a list of mods :)...

i thought id start a new thread so we can all post our results from yesterday , there should be a few of us as i saw at least 20 clios running:D it would be good if you could post up a picture or scan of your graph along with a list of mods done so other owners of the same car get an idea of...
no you would need to take your car to them as they will live map it on a rolling road unless it is an off the shelf chip which you could then fit to your ecu yourself
cheers all:D
I'm impressed with the gains, makes a nice noticeable difference:evil:, I'll have to do a speedo vid sometime when the weather gets better. next up I'm going to pod next month to try and beat my previous there of 13.9...:D
Went along to surrey rolling road today to get my mk1 hybrid rolling roaded as i wanted a direct comparison to my old setup which was run there last year. when i last went i made 177bhp 139lb/ft and this was running a 2.0ltr f7r , piper 270 cams , supersprint manifold, mongoose exh and hillpower...
was a good day and was good to see new and old faces:D
mine made 180bhp peak, ive gain 3bhp at the top but have massive improvements through out the rev range of both torque and bhp from my mods done since last there:D not bad for an engine that's 17 years old and on 145k+;)
900kg for my mk1, rearseats removed , no spare or cage, no std seatbelts, tar and foam under carpet removed. few lighter bits in the bay like manifold and coilovers etc also get leggeras.
could get it even lighter but its my daily drive so needs creature comforts (sort of) lol
(btw, mk1 weigh...
aye does sound similar to the kent's ( mine ain't really 285deg its just what piper call them , they are actually 276deg each lol ) what kent cams are they btw (RN....) ?
