Re: Mk1 172 Hybrid Track Car Project
everything is better once the superleggeras are fitted, better steering, braking , acc etc, all to do with the rolling weight ( or lack of it in this case ) ;) i knew you'd get on well with them:D 45-50 will notice very little difference.....
please don't change the colour of the wheels the white on blue looks soooo nice:approve::D F4R:dead::nono::rolleyes:, F7R on the other hand and it might actually be quick:rasp:
laine do not fit an F4R, just strip down your eng and replace what is needed, it will work out alot cheaper and alot easier in the long run mate:)
Matteh im still willing to show you why you fitted the wrong eng, you around this weekend;)
also need to see these F4R'd mk1's lay down some...
exactly the same as my mates one, some times would come up with the little clock/disc but wouldn't do anything else and other times wouldn't even recognize the disc... if out of warranty is worth giving it a try as it doesn't cost anything lol
if its out of warranty, open it up and give the blu ray lens a clean. don't be scared its not hard at all. done 2 recently, mine as it wasn't playing hardly any blu ray movies and also done a friends which wouldn't load f**k all. both are working 100% after cleaning them out:)
looking good mate:D gotta say it looks like you will have massive problems getting the bonnet to shut with the turbo that way up, looks like it sticks up loads:eek: have you trial fitted it yet or even measured?
yep 13.9 from my hybrid:D same situation here tom, I've raced both midge and bass direct and pulled ever so slightly at the top end. both were 1.8's with low boost conversions running 10psi. i expect to get battered when midge finishes his high boost conversion tho:evil:
haha, seat with frame and gearstick holder cost £205 all together, can be had for £180 without the g/stick holder, is quite abit of money but if you enjoy racing games is 100% worth it.
its kinda had to tell on the pics but once you are sat down you are in perfect line with the screen, not...
would'nt bother with low boost really as they are as quick as a modded hybrid, you NEED high boost if doing it properly;) http://www.engine-dynamics.com/ is BB's new site and seem to be the cheapest for turbo bits at the min...
coops, naples 16v ( justin ) , maxiboy and midge. a few more are over at www.clio16valver.co.uk ( redrocket, dan wii, and wag1 i think are a few more )
perfect companion for the g25/27 , probably works with the Porsche wheel aswell:cool: ( note: i have the gearstick holder as well just not fitted in the pics....)
think the cups wheels weigh the same as a std willy wheel so that gonna be 7.2kg they are alot stronger tho. a prima replica was actually .1kg lighter than the official wheels being 7.1kg. this was from when someone had a set on Williams Clio and weighed them all
