Put it down to experience, learn from it and move on. I did similar 10 years ago. You aren't the first and won't be the last.
Think yourself lucky you got out of it and how it could have ended. Dented wallet, dented pride and all that.
I'd be amazed if every person on here religiously sticks...
You'll be fine matey, I'd get out contracting as it'll be the easiest way to find a new permanent role. That's if you don't get a taste for contracting and the Hollywood $$$. You're good at what you do so let someone else take advantage of that.
and from a car point of view.....meh. You'll get...
Unbelievable amount of hate for a guy that's happy with his purchase because it differs from the majority.
classic CS right there.
I say good on you if you've gone out and got what you want. Life's too short!
I'd actually keep a lookout on here in the for sale section for a decent one already track prepared. For the membership cost it'll save you a lot of time effort and money, you can also look at any historical threads linked to car or forum owner.
he told me he wasn't your mate! ;-) but in all honesty I'm glad this is starting to go your way Andy. Although you are the reason "the boss" won't let me turbo charge the cup!
I love Fred's old skool integrity when it comes to getting it right, just the way it should be.
I get on well With them on the cup. Running 34 front 32 rear as I believe they're not xl. I did opt for 205 width so maybe that's making up the difference. Mind you I don't explore the limit's of the car too much but they seem reassuring in adverse weather. Lack of abs and all.
Having also seen the incident I couldn't summarise better.
The BMW driver was out of his depth and turning the session into a race, I'm not biased I have a BMW and a clio.
I also know which one my very limited talent would run out in first, however am responsible enough to not impose it on...
Didn't knot it was you! But saw the whole thing. Personally I'd be buying someone a replacement car if I did that to someone. Looked like a hard hit too.
