    Lights Refurb

Yea,think its the coarser grits that's done it, but needed to use it to shift the patina as it was surprisingly deep. It certainly looks infinitely better than before bud, good effort. Taking it apart was a bit of a chore on the one I'm making into a duct-the backing plastic got damaged on the...

    Lights Refurb

Looking nice muld  Did you get it completely haze free? Being picky mine still has a few minor imperfections from the wet/dry 600-1200 if you look closely. Might start again and try using some 2k grit this weekend.

    ph1 clio 172

Really tidy looking ph1 Serkan. Don't think i've seen one with the dark detail on the headlight clusters before, quite like it with the anthracite f1s

Black Clio Colour Scheme ? [PIC REQUEST]

Quite like mine looking fairly plain bar the retro yellow fog tints. Silver/anthracite with the odd bit of c/f imo.

    KTEC stealth SUPERSPORTS just arrived!

From your post above i'd suggest the BTB. Same price as the kbrand, but a considerably better product imho. BTB certainly feels to give more torque than my previous kbrand stealth too. :)

    Trophy Suspension Dilemma ... ?

There was a guy on cliotrophy.co.uk who posted a pic of his revised setup he'd been sent by MF (one of the earlier kits prior to the unmarked black(?) springsets). He said they were red Eibachs, but no one seemed willing/able to take a look to relay a part number or spring weight/specs to...

    conversion

Why bother unless youre planning on heavily tuning it? Ive got a 1.6 mk2-they arent quick by any stretch of the imagination :dead: Why not just buy a 172 if you want something that feels a bit quicker?

lowered 182 not happy any ideas welcome

Fred, are the koni rears the same as the coil setup ie yellow on adjuster platforms for 172/182?

    Trophy Suspension Dilemma ... ?

Fair comment. I guess some people even pay good money to have their coils fitted, lol. Did you ever identify the revised spring rates on those mf springs btw?

    Trophy Suspension Dilemma ... ?

Id agree with Chris. Surely more fun to play around with spring/oil/piston & gas fill rates to make them exactly how you want them? Failing that, if you cant be bothered seems the kw v2s work well out of the box, but that said dont see many 'previously enjoyed' sets come up for sale.

    What Exhaust and panel filter..

Nope, dont have to raise your voice to talk over it during regular driving & pleasant at motorway speeds. 5k plus it livens up just right imo, now mines sooted up its v.subtle. The ktec stealth (ironically their quieter version) i had before was massively louder, the same as every stealth...

    wheres my 5 k kick

Mine doesnt have the 5k cliche. Does that mean theres something wrong?

    What Exhaust and panel filter..

I certainly wouldnt bother with ktec. Get either BTB or a JP/Yozza. Paper filter works fine in the both the std box & R25v6 box imo.
