Fact of the matter is David, the ebay seller was retailing these units for £160 delivered (best offer price). I very much doubt he would have been doing so at a loss and that the asking price would have presumably factored in a 'reasonable' margin. A near 35% differential hardly seems...

Yea, you'd think clearance is surely clearance irrespective of it being sat against the smooth/even stainless surface or rough arse cast material. Hopefully I won't be going too fast when my front axles implode from running with the shims in :rolleyes:

Funny about the shims. Prepped properly with adequate clearance, ive run ds2500s & now the pagid blacks on road & track with zero issues shimmed. Weird, guess my shims must be f**king magical.

Surely it's just a late registration 172, it's presumably coming up as a 182 on the databases as it falls into the 04 plate banding. Isn't it usually the parallel imports that you usually see as 04 reg on a 172-does this have the little red light next to the gearstick & window etchings...

Personally I wouldn't run another Ktax/Janetspeed system if you paid me. Supersprint,JP/Yoz,BTB would where my money would and has gone.
