Skills on the 888s fletch, good call :)
What pads were you using with the four pots?
Not sure if they do them in your fitment, but the pagid blacks get two thumbs up from me. Virtually no dust either.
ASTs dude. Fronts feel a little soft (fine for road use mind) & rears have a quirky size spring so there's not sufficient pre-load at the minute. Rear spacers arrived today & upping the fronts 20n too, so hopefully it'll feel a little sharper next time out :)
About how I want mine Fletch. Was running the rear as as high as the spring collars would allow :(
Have the spacers now though so can lift it a little.
Seen these before. Isn't it from the retro 'vive le sport' slogan?
Odd put it on the mk2 non sport clio as it seems it first appeared on the 5gtt rally cars.
I got mine 'pre-enjoyed' but there's no sign of shaft warp-needed a new seal kit but were otherwise fine. Granted the inverts would undoubtedly offer better side load bearing, but the 22mil shafts seemed perfectly adequate for me :)
What's the alternative you're considering Col?
Yes Colin, 4000 series/sportline 1 non inverts that I've recently begun playing around with. Done a cpl of trackdays on them now and initial opinions are good. Once I've got a baseline that I'm happy with I'll start experimenting a little more. You running them on yours or you thinking of...
Done two trackdays recently on pagid blacks. Awesome stopping power w/very little dust. Ceramic based too so hopefully should be fairly kind on discs :)
