Me personally I wouldn't bother with the ktic coilovers, I'd certainly go for the Vmaxx instead. It's a pity the Raceland coils no longer appear to be available to UK customers. £160 seems far more realistic for a cheap set of coilovers imo.

What weight/brands have people used & would suggest trying in these vorshlag/ast dampers on a 172/182? Understand std replacement weight is around 12cst at 40deg, How far have people deviated from this & for what reason/application? Cheers.

You supply 565h aswell don't you Fred? General consensus seems to be this being the preffered pad. :) It would appear ktec have previously supplied 172/182 pads in the 406 variant, so worth asking unless buying from the likes of Fred or P@AN...

Me and JAmie tried to swap one over-total nightmare. Couldn't grip it tight enough to remove it without scoring/flatting it :(

IMO removing the acoustic valve on mine made no difference noise wise. Same for the R25v6 airbox in the same orientation compared to a std box within minutes of each other on the dyno last weekend. On mine the v6 box just sounds marginally louder than the std box with the upper inlet pipe removed.

Not got mine yet. Was going to head over & get the full readouts for mine this week.

Hi spanish, RE the 172 decat, BTB themselves now have a jig for assembling a 182 cat fitup to the 172 mani. I'm pretty sure they'd happily weld in a straight section if you asked them to. If I were after a decat, I'd certainly be going to BTB for it-personally I wouldn't bother with the ktax...

I don't get why anyone would consider going from a 182 to a 1.6GT.

I'm not normally one for static meets, but today was a good outing. Interesting to see FA difference with the r25v6 airbox-where was the mystic additional 8hp it's supposed to give? pmsl.:clown: Still, at least it sounds nice:)

If you're just wanting more induction sound have you considered the R25 v6 airbox?

I second Warrens comment. Low yes, but stupidly low on cheap/soft dampers I just don't understand.
